Severely underrated video. Deserves many more views because I can tell this probably took you a long time to gather all the takedowns of the game.
oh yeah, took me like 8 hours driving the streets just to get the damn quad bike single and double takedowns from both sides... takes forever for those things to spawn both with one and two enemies on them, during the right time of day so the video isn’t dark, and hopefully with no other enemies shooting at me during the pursuit and takedown!

I love how the takedowns have certain characteristics between Jason and Ajay. Takedowns from 3 felt more brutal and longer, fitting Jason's insanity and, more or less, enjoying/savoring the moment from 'winning'. While 4 feels more quick and deadly but also silent at the same time fitting Ajay. A man with few words being the "strong, silent type" but hellbent on fulfilling one last promise and is willing to kill anything that gets in the way of that.

Takedowns in New Dawn have so good style and the quality of those animations is incredible. Just play New Dawn and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, Far Cry 6 is ofcourse going to have knife takedowns.*

I would have used the custom map "Deathfangz Derby V2" to get all the vehicle takedowns. I recorded literally every one of them including the trucks and hatchbacks in around 20 mins.

Tbh farcry 4 perfected takedowns, enough variety for every situation while still matching that visceral brutality that makes them such a beloved part of the franchise.
This game is one of my favorites ever! I truly had so much fun playing it and multiple times as well

You forgot the ones in shangri-la they have different animations
actually I recorded all the Shangri-la animations but they ended up being the exact same with their normal world counter parts, just enemies had different skins. There’s an exception where the tiger assists in three of the heavy enemy animations, I have them but forgot to add those 3 :(

I few years ago I could have sworn I saw a secret takedown animation where ajay would gunslinger takedown one of the knife throwing enemies and realize they didn’t have a gun.
it exists, i have encountered it numerous times in map editor, even on enemies that were supposed to have a side arm. it never occured in the campaign for me but it happens regulary on map editor. its kinda annoying when you want to do a gun slinger takedown only to realise that the guy doesn't have a gun.

It’s been so long since I played Far Cry 4 that I completely forgot about vehicle takedowns. Those are so badass, wish they’d bring those back.
The selling point for me in FC4 compared to all other games is...
The enemies plea for their lives when they can see you go for a takedown.
To add on, if you haven't been spotted, they are likely to yell in surprise. And heavies do not plea unless it's a DFA.
For a second I thought DFA meant something else.

Farcry is a great series but I hate how they make the antagonists try to recruit you and have actual motives while not giving the player the choice to pick sides. It doesn’t work well in a game about doing whatever you want

I'm not going to say it in a rude way, but your comment is an example that people don't like to read. Ajay grew up in a conflictive environment, where bad influences taught him about weapons and combat from an early age. You can read more about Ajay on the Far Cry Wiki
that game was like an FC3.5. I love how his Kukri knife was totally sharp in this game while real Kukri's are blunt and only have one cutting side. but i admit that some killing animations were cool to see (especially in the vehicles) to although more than half of them were retaken from FC3

@@zedus4042 FC4 all the way, IMO. Far better gameplay, dynamic world, story, etc. The only thing FC5 has on 4 is the native holster function, bullet drop, and vehicle selection.

I dont think it was ever mentioned but in one wiki, it says that Ajay joined the US Army and was with the 82nd airborne and was a green beret. Now idk how true this is but it makes more sense as he is skilled in sniping, handling explosives, guerilla warfare, and just all sorts of combat esp these kills. If it is true then that also means him and Jacob Seed served in the same division

@@GameCompareCentral hey I have a question. Do you know if you can buzzer takedown on an enemy that isn’t in a car? Also you forgot wingsuit takedown, parachute takedown, and maybe buzzer takedown if there is one. I think you can also jump off a buzzer and land on somebody too
There doesn't seem to be a buzzer takedown on a standing enemy. Wingsuit, parachute etc all do the same death from above takedown animation, they do not have separate animations.
After all the years of playing Far Cry 4, and knowing about the game. I never knew you could do vehicle takedowns? Lol

The fact that Far Cry 4 was the first Far Cry game to introduce vehicle and cover takedowns makes it worth playing. Far Cry 4 is Awesome! That Plane Takedown was Badass!
I just like how all of these takedowns are just knifes on critical spots instead of a gun takedown, fist, or even another melee weapon.
