For example, the Bizon and SVD's charging handles and ejection ports are on the left side, when in real life, they are typically on the right. The AK is modeled after its IRL counterpart, but the SVD and Bizon are mirrored, hence my frustration, since they fall under the same weapon family.

I really hate that bullet count sound in EVERY gun in Far Cry 5. I hope they get rid of that in 6. In 3 only modern guns made the noise but in 5 even the damn revolvers and shotguns do it.

People over here who continue to rant about Far Cry 5 being worst in comparison are obsessed with nostalgia and probably have never played the game themselves, (or atleast not played it to the point where it becomes better throughout the progression). All far cry games are awesome, they have their pros and cons. There are downgrades (I mean it's ubisoft, what were you expecting?) but nobody even cares to look at the upgrades.
Old is gold. far cry 3 and far cry 5 had both good stories and colorful and both good graphics, both good video quality, both badass villains but the animations in far cry 5 the takedowns kinda trash I more like the far cry 3 because you see how badass is vaas and Jason brody, i like Jason how he using with knife and pistol takedowns like john wick lol. So I go for the far cry 3 thou because old is gold, im not trying to offend the far cry 5 fans there cuz it's my opinion I'm not trying to fight everyone just for a game so uhm I'm just saying this alright..both games are good and gold because it's just a game and for fun for everyone.
I don't really like the look of the weapons in fc5, not because of the animations though. My problem is the viewmodel fov being so low. This results in you simply being incapable of SEEING YOUR WEAPON AT ALL, CEPT' THE DAMN BARREL!
