Black ops Cold War has for me the most accurate guns sounds in the entire franchise, but comparing with modern warfare (2019) sounds worse but that game exaggerates the sounds
In terms of sounds they both nail sounds, but I hate the weird far cry 5 weapon clink sounds when you get near the end of a magazine, it’s weird and annoying. I also like the reloads in both games as well.
Technically both shotguns are strikers as the shells are automatically ejected after firing. With an actual streetsweeper, you would have to eject each shell manually with the guns ejector rod.

Well i found some other reloads a bit more more satisfying, the commando empty reload on cold war isn't that good (fixed with tapped mags) but the mw2r m4 empty reload is more satisfying. A Good thing that cold war took from mw2019 is to make tactical reloads and keep the used mag when there's ammo instead of throwing it away, but for example except for the stricker, all the mw2r shotgun reloads are far better than cold war and the magnum too. Also another thing that really annoys me from cold war is the m16a2 20/18 round capacity mag having 30 rounds by default, they could have used a normal 30 round stanag like in mw2r. In general the mag attachments on cold war are modeled bad af, they don't make any sense at all, for example how ironically can a pieze of tape or cordon increase your 30 round mag capacity into a 50 round non quad stack mag that looks like a normal stanag 30 rounder :^/
I believe the Mw2 remastered weapons and sounds just look better. I feel like infinity ward worked harder on just a campaign remaster then treyarch did in an entire game. It should really be infinity ward working on all cod games not just mw and futuristic warfare.

Cold war is better this time. Mw2r feels something like robotic. Thanks to the bass heavy sounds and recoil animations, cold war's weapons seems more powerful.
As a AK guy i can say *IF* the BOCW AKM was AK74 the 5.45mm will fit with gunshot but with AKM? nope. soo MW2R AK wins to me, Raven nailed the punch of 7.62×39. also just try swapping Krig6 & AK47 gunshot it fits well LOL
