How they teach you to act in the event of a fire: *Walk in a single-file line, do not push or shove, and move calmly to the nearest exit.* How people ACTUALLY act in the event of a fire: *This class.*
@@Kingmax9999 Interesting. Of course nowadays you rarely see bells used as fire alarms in American schools, but the Temporal Coding is required for all new fire alarm systems using those electronic horn/strobe units (which have been replacing said bells.)
Older buildings even back then still had them. My middle and high school had a mechanical buzzing sound which wasn't all that loud and could barely be heard if teachers kept their classroom doors shut. And this was in late 90s early to kid 2000s
@@BlueEyes-ii4zz All my public schools used those! But it was REALLY loud at my high school, even if doors were closed (Simplex 4040 horns.) They were mostly on Continuous, excepting my first elementary (now K-8) school which had their Simplex 4051 horns sound on Slow March Time.
Here's some cool Kindergarten Cop movie info! In Kindergarten Cop, the interior school shots were all shot on a set built on a soundstage at Universal Studios Hollywood. I know this because I was a school kid background extra on this movie. I worked on this for 4 days. It was super fun! It was my first background gig ever. I even got to met Arnold Schwarzenegger! Great memories!
Arnie was very cool! I took pictures with him and got his autograph. He was very engaging with all the cast and crew. I remember getting wet alot and then changing into dry clothes over and over. The set where it was filmed was right by one of the backlog tram stops. One day we were done in the late afternoon so my dad and I just hopped on the tram and enjoyed the backlot tram ride lol!
Lol this is how I felt when Teaching in summer camp the kids were crazy they were grabbing their backpacks and jackets while I was telling them to line up. I had a conversation with them saying that you listen And don’t grab anything we have to get out of the building quickly!

this was me and my daycare class. they hadnt told me what door to go out of nor where to gather in the event of a fire drill/fire. the kids ran all over the place lol
Well good thing it was a drill then lol. I swear I'm not trying to make you feel bad about a learning experience (I'm no teacher and I doubt I could even get the kids out), but you should probably know the door to go out of assuming it is the closest exit. A fire won't care if other faculty haven't told you yet.
@@jacobg8640 youre right. the kids immediately followed the other class in the large shared/split classroom. i rightly assumed we were to go out our closest exit on our opposite end, but followed the majority who were headed in the wrong direction. they were a mess! lol we practiced lining up at the back door after that. i continued to take them out the back door and walk to our playground after that incident as well so they would be used to using the proper exit for firedrills/emergencies. we live and we learn.

While they were late but if there was a real fire like later in the movie you're not going to be calm and coming out in a straight line you're going to be running to get out! I give them credit for hurrying doing you're suppose to do when there is a fire

It sounds like the Simplex bells that were used as the school bell when I was in kindergarten, except they are sounded on the Temporal coding when used as a fire alarm. None of my schools used bells as fire alarms though; and in the USA it's quite rare now, as many fire alarm bells have since been replaced with modern horn/strobes.
That kid yelling "I'M ON FIRE" hahahaha
I love the little boy on the desk screaming, "I'm on fire!"
Yes that was so funny!!
I think we all did that in kindergarten 😂
He's actually saying I love fire lol
That was me right there.
Yeah lol 🤣
How to act in a fire drill: walk calmly
Kindergarten: randomly jumping out the windows
Well, later in the movie during the fire, the kindergarteners are walking calmly, while everyone else is freaking out.
