I just bought an '18 ST last month & two days ago I started getting that message, so I got concerned & called the Ford dealer, where I bought it. They ran my VIN & current mileage & told me it didn't need any service & that rather than me take it in, to just go onto CZcams & there are tutorials on here lol. So here I am & your video was the first one I saw. Thank you sir, it worked perfectly & was super easy.

My stupid ass went to a local Ford dealer and got the oil changed on my ST. A month later it notifies me that my oil needs changing. Morons didn't even reset the oil life monitor. Thanks for showing us how to do it.

Thank you very much! First look for information, second video here on CZcams, had it a year and probably only done a meer few thousand (if that). Checked condition of the oil on the dipstick, seems good (still thin and light in colour) 77.8k on the clock, serviced before taking ownership so yer I think (and should hope) it'll hold out for another few months or maybe another year (depending on milage*) 👍 Thanks very much!

ThatKidRick yeah man, I told them not to do a tire rotation and I had already done it a few weeks ago. They ended up rotating the passenger front and back. Like wtf? You’re supposed to rotate them in an X pattern to start with, and also they weren’t supposed to rotate to begin with. After getting it back I pointed it out and they said bring it back when I have time later in the day. I didn’t have time for all that so I just did it myself in 15mins when I got back to my work since we have enough tools to do that. Lol

Also noticed do it right away after you hit the start button and do not hit ok when it gives you the oil change message. It didn’t work after I exited out of that screen. FYI
