With this vanity, I decided to try something different from the usual style of splitting the two parts into nightstands. I thought tambour doors would look great in the middle, so that's what I attempted. It was actually trickier than I thought to figure out the design and the order in which to assemble the pieces, but it all worked out in the end. I think this may be the most functional thing I've ever built...

beautiful piece, but i was shocked when the ad was for temu. to promote such a brand that thrives off mass consumption and horrible working conditions while your channel and furniture pieces are all about reusing and quality over quantity, i felt something was not quite right. of course i understand the need to make an income, but with previous sponsors being worlds apart from temu i think it’s worth thinking about. also to the viewers: please don’t buy things off temu.
Temu is one of the least environmentally friendly shops in the entire world, not to mention one whose workers live and work under appalling conditions. As a creator whose videos are all about reusing the old and increasing the life of already excisting items, I would encourage you to think twice before accepting them as a sponsor again. I understand you need sponsors, but I hope in the future you’ll choose ones that are better both environmentally and when it comes to basic human rights.
You’ve become one of those creators where I automatically click the thumbs up when I start watching. You never fail to produce something amazing and your videos are artfully done.
Love it, you're amazing at repurpose old furniture. This was exceptionally good! Hate that you gone into partnership with temu. Temu is not a sustainable way of shopping and should be boycotted. For the environment, for the workers in China.
Loving the sliding doors addition to this piece. Your vision is excellent. So happy that you went with stain instead of colored paint. I have a 100-yr old drum table that is currently stained with black. I prefer a red mahogany, so I plan to sand and restain, but I am nervous I will mess it up LOL
