Hi 👋 sometimes when you are doing a spin in discus you can actually keep in close and drive through the ring instead of swing a led or an arm out during the first roatation also I am a female state thrower and at the age of 12 when I was using this technique I managed to come 1st in state and 4 nationally with a throw of 39.47m

For me winding up is just a waste of energy, do it all in one motion and don’t wind up
Helps me a lot and doesn’t tire you out. I throw farther without doing it than with doing it
