Big Mako's got that real low key self-deprecating humour - I wasn't necessarily expecting it but I was laughing plenty. Really enjoyed the episode 👍
This adds a whole new dimension to watching a game with Mako in it. - A man permanently trying to manage his temper and not berate his teammates. The sleeping volcano, just bubbling along under the surface, with everyone else trying not to set him off. Will watch the huddles with great interest now!
And yes, his eyebrows have a life of their ow. His left one appears to be trying to look round the corner half the time. This is hilarious!

Great insight Mako. I totally understand his comments around being a bit stand offfish to people you don’t know and being accused of being arrogant. I get that a lot from people as I’m naturally not a extrovert and use it as a defensive mechanism.

I'd pick Max Malins
Instead of Lions tour, a battle of the hemispheres tour to NZ instead. Northern players & fans have to be vaccinated or test negative to covid 72hrs before their flight. They then have to be tested when they land in NZ & Isolate for 2 days until they get results. Northern fans also have to get a free covid test once a week. Postpone SA Lions to 2025, that way it will be a proper tour. Broadcasters should be ok coz battle of the hemispheres tour would be a ratings bonanza.
