- We arrive at Camping Juegdstadion, Ieper in Belgium. This is our last campsite on this Euro tour. It's Trev's birthday and we meet up with the @yorkshiremotoroamers - Kev and Tracy. We take in the atmosphere of the beautiful town and attend the last post ceremony at the famous Menin Gate.

Beautiful place Ypres. Thank you for making my birthday a special day this year. Really enjoyed Ypres and although the gate was shrouded in scaffolding, we still managed to capture the atmosphere of the city. More lovely memories 😃👍🏻 💙Trev

Another location for our ever growing list of places to visit and to pay our respects. Renovation and conservation are always necessary but such a shame when it’s at the same time as your visit. It’s a cracking little campsite there, you were parked in exactly the same spot we were at the start of August. As a forces veteran the Menin gate ceremony has a lot of meaning for me and we have been there for it 3 times now. At least the weather was better for you than it was for us we got soaked walking in to Ieper for something to eat.
Happy Belated birthday to Trevor, I like how they still do the last post. We went to Belguim in junior school, all i remember was cheese clogs and some toy that you put water in and it peed 😂

Well done Bob and Jenny on another excellent video I’ve always wanted to visit Ypres and the menin gate what an experience to hear the last post I bet it was so emotional there looks like you had another lovely day shame about the building works but looks such a pretty town and again so clean like much of Belgium we have visited
