All fighting for a place to get as close as possible 🤣😂. By the way I liked the gimbal video. Mainly because I didn't know what a gimbal was 😂 . I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with you with your chat. I agree Bob, that the Italian Job is a great film, one of my favourites. There is a remake of it,which isn’t half as good. Every time you mention Dumfries and Galloway, I’m particularly interested as I grew up there. I passed my driving test in Dumfries back in the 1970’s. I had a quiet,but good Christmas. We were invited for our dinner, by my in laws on Christmas Day, which was lovely. After buying all the food for New Year’s Day, we’ve also been invited then, for dinner at short notice. We’ve accepted the invitation and we will manage to use the food we bought to eat at home, on the day! It’s great that you have so many subscribers, it shows how many of us enjoy your videos. I wish you both a Happy New Year, with good health and lots of happy travelling. I’ll raise a glass to you.

I do have one big ask for you for 2024… you’ve given the game away! You said every time you wash your van it rains, could you please stop washing it, you must have the cleanest van in the UK given the amount of rain we had in 2023 😁🌧️ Joking aside, fingers crossed for better weather in 2024.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Bob. Jenny & Poppy. I had a milestone Birthday on the 17th so went to spend that with Mum, she is so ill now. Did a few things whilst there, then made Christmas dinner for 2 of us.

RAF Marham is just down the road from us in Norfolk , if the book wets your appetite there is a great heritage museum at the gates to the base next time you’re in this part of the world. Hope the weather holds for you and you enjoy the New Year Celebrations where ever you end up. Best wishes Helen and Martin.

Yes you were right when you said how you'd got many new subscribers during the lock down, that is when I began following many of you motor homers, mainly in the UK and quite a few travelling around S. America, I do love going into all when I can.... Our Xmas here in Argentina is so very different, but as my family is British descent, we go about it your way and eat far too much on hot Xmas day...... Cheers and keep safe.

Ive unfortunately been working over christmas since the 24th, just finished a few hours ago. Our plans didnt go well, never did get to have an actual Christmas Dinner! Family went for Midnight Mass to our local Church only to find it shut, they then went to the next town, to find that shut, and eventually ended up at the cathedral in Manchester city centre! I ofcourse was at work for my sins, hearing about all the drama!
Present opening was delayed till the 26th and boxing day meal was never cooked due to all the left overs not eaten on Xmas day!
Unfortunately im back to work on New Years day at 0400, however will then look forward to finishing on the 5th and getting away in Tia to Lady Margarets Park CMC for a few days!
Might even put the dash Van tree up😂😂
That's a new one, churches closed at Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you both (and Pops) We were booked to go to Stonehaven from Boxing Day until the 2nd Jan but on Christmas morning my wife decided to slip on the step and fracture her foot so all plans went out if the window. Hey ho these things happen. Will go in Feb instead. Hopefully she’ll be back walking by then

We're away for three nights this weekend for the New Year, but can you believe we still haven't decided where we're going yet. (And you talk about planning) ? We need Jenny in our lives !! Had a great Christmas just the three of us. Lots of lovely gifts and relaxing. Our daughter won’t eat meat so she had fishless fish 😂. We had a beef dinner on the Friday and a chicken dinner on Christmas Day for a change. We watched the Italian Job as well, I love Michael Caine. Happy New Year both.
It's getting harder to find vegetarian dishes at the moment.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I know. Our daughter has a peanut allergy since birth as well and they are in a lot of foods, cross contamination. It’s a nightmare shopping.
Landis farm looks lovely. I always go to Auchenfranco, near Loch foot, ( Canada Geese, Osprey , an otter, Kingfishers, apparently. )
You'll love Caerlaverock Castle, triangular in plan.
There's also a CS on the northern shore of Solway Firth. You can brush up on your boxing.

Hope you have a great New Year. Ours was a very different Christmas experience. We went to our daughters and her partner is a vegan so we had a vegan roast dinner. Sadly his mum was unwell and had to leave Christmas morning so instead of 8 there were 6. I am 10 months sober today so weird for me not having alcohol although others in the family did. We all had a brilliant day and great not to have a hangover. We are away for the new year. This is a new experience for us as well as I didn’t want to go to a party. We are going to north wales and hope to take Max for a walk on the beach, weather dependent. Take care Gill

Loved the unscripted approach to this video - Our Xmas went very well the favourite activity being one person wearing plastic reindeer antlers whilst the rest threw rings, hours of fun. Off on the Portsmouth Santander ferry tonight for a 3 month Spanish tour hoping the bay of Biscay is ok

I hope you had a lovely Christmas and have a happy healthy 2024. Coco and I went to my God daughter’s for Christmas Day, we had a very nice time and Coco has put weight on as everyone gave her chicken and turkey.
Poppy wouldn't be very well if people have her chicken, we have to watch her food carefully.
I’ve had a good Christmas with family in Oldbury on Severn nr Bristol. Heading home to Kirriemuir tomorrow 28th and guess what stoping for the night half way at Meathop Fell. Will probably miss you by a day or two.

On a good note, Moffat was trial run with towglide Aframe and Up tow car. Went excellent, as you said not cheap but works well and enabled us to go to Gray Mares tail waterfall.
That's good to hear, it does make a difference being able to get out and about in the car.
Hi Bob & Jenny, it's always the way isn't it, I feel your pain regarding the online shopping delivery. I'm disabled & rely on it alot, I had to have my order delivered in the 22nd as all other slots where unavailable, the meat was use by before Christmas, & the fresh cream ect 😩 which then meant finding a delivery slot with Iceland for hopefully dates after Christmas. Thankfully I managed to get the bits Tesco had mucked up (Tesco did reimburse me regarding) ..... But, other than that a nice day, glad it's all nearly over though 😬😂
Shopping deliveries are a god send for many people, but can be so frustrating when it goes wrong.
Well, if we had known you were at home we would have popped around for a cup of tea, 🤣🤣 we left Southport yesterday and went up to Moffat, wow the roads were sooo bad ? 🙈🙈🙈
Off further up today, Robert had the same problem setting his gimble up when he first had his some time ago, and once he’d mastered it he never used it as it was so bulky to carry around

Yes, that's the issue, it seems much easier to pick up the GoPro. Hopefully I'll use it in scenic spots, castles and gardens. Just need it to stop raining at some point....

I think it will have an Automatic transmission for Bob and more importantly a BIG Rummicub table for Jenny that seats 6 👍
Make sure you read up on the Ford injector issues Bob (if my guess is correct) and fit a water tray to protect the injectors per the Chausson owners group 👌😜

We don’t do grocery shopping on line, back during the Covid lockdowns I tried to register for online shopping but just couldn’t get registered due to the high demand and haven’t bothered since. I was pleasantly surprised when we went to Tesco (avoiding the Saturday and Christmas Eve) there were more people in the shop but it wasn’t over busy, the only thing was I got tempted by those “little extras” I have an extremely sweet tooth so some extra chocolate sneaked into the trolley!
Be careful with the site names you’re going to, you said “nobody knows where Landis farm is” all I had to do was type in Landis Farm on Google and there it was, didn’t even need to type in Dumfries, it looks really nice. Don’t worry I’m not going to follow you up there, I’m just saying it’s so easy to find things out these days, you have to be really careful.

Pulled the caravan up to Scone today. Torrential rain, high winds, some lunatic doing 40 on the motorway and wouldn’t let anyone pass them. Six mile detour. Vans filthy. Everywhere flooded. We’re still having a ball. 😂

Hi Bob & Jenny I got a Euro River 2 to power my Moho camera system ,but why is the 13 amp socket upside down any ideas ,,happy new year ..can’t book anything till February

Hi both, did Patrick do a covid test? We went to Moffat week before Xmas and I was ill while there, came back with Covid! Ok now but still got lingering cough.
The covid tests were negative. Lots of other nasty viruses around now.
Well, Christmas comes to pass, doesn't it. Oh, the trauma of it all for 2 days. Makes me wonder why we put ourselves though it every year... Following our October into December France and Spain motorhome tour we landed back to find that 85-y-o mother has lost her memory due to an infection and iron deficiency, the crisis of us being out of the country and us not really understanding what was going on, her not knowing that the house she has lived in for 60 years was her own and thinking she had been there only a few weeks, our motorhome step framework becoming unstable and then the car not working well when we returned after 3 months of touring. We kicked Christmas into touch and will probably do the same again. It's just another day. Bah Humbug! Thanks for the update.
Everything that goes wrong usually does at Christmas! They should move it to July. We didn't even mention our visit with my 93 yo mum to A&E that took 8 hours....

Well I for one are excited for your new van! 🎉 👍🫶 we came to Southport yesterday for a drive out,I always joke that we will pop in for a cuppa lol … we definitely not stalking you but we certainly have stayed in many of your suggested sites…our last one just before Christmas, on our Germany 4 week tour we did Ypres 1st night and 3 nights on our return and thank you ! what a great little site! We also tried your vets for our return paper work,I don’t think you mentioned there name on that vlog but I noticed the sign so paused it and zoomed in on signage lol and what a great veteran and will be our go to from now on,also we discovered Moffat through you,one of our favourites when visiting our family in Edinburgh,plus such a perfect location for us with our 2 dogs,I’m looking forward to more of your adventures in 2024 and discovering new sites for us to try out! Oh another site we now enjoy,we decided to try the Southport site just a few months ago,this is also another site we will return too,although it’s not the cheapest it’s ideal for a autumn/winter small run out for us as we only live in Blackpool 👍👍👍 I’m also glad Christmas is over and raring to get travelling again soon….probably if the weather is kind try another month in Germany 🇩🇪 next February might be on the cards….we discovered KNAUS camping sites over there,have you used them’ they are open all year and the 3 we used on our last trip was excellent and would highly recommend them to you 👍👍👍 happy new year to you 3 keep up the good work…Andrew David and the 2 Boyz Archie & Jack
We looked at a couple of videos on Knaus sites when we were planning on going south in Germany, perhaps we'll do that next time.
