One of the best things I seen in the video is what you were wearing on your feet. Never thought about doing that lol. Great video!!!
Glad you enjoyed the video! If you're interested in trying the mopping sock, you can grab it at this link: amzn.to/3SARqaL. Happy cleaning with cozy feet! 😄

Best explanation on youtube! Great video format and i love the lighting and the clearly filmed demonstrations. Keep up the great videos 😁
Thank you so much!!! You are so kind! ❤️ I will!!!!
@home_reimagined links in the bio don't work. Can't copy & paste either😔 Please help
@@nsd0909I pinned the comment to the top with the link! Lmk if that works
Definitely enjoyed it too, because I want one of these if we ever get a house (we're in our 30s in Canada, that's everyone's dream haha) I really want those little mop slippers too :)
Pop op ppP Ll 000 ppo@@home_reimagined
After watching and reading comments I got it figured out. Works really really well! Clean water stays in the insert. When you spin it the dirty water goes down in the bucket. Just make sure you give it a good spin. Hope the mechanism doesn’t break. Wish it had wheels though.
Yes!!! Exactly!!! Thank you. It can be so confusing at first glance so I did my best to describe it! Thank you for asking ❤️
🤯🤯🤯 HEYYYYY! I WANT A PAIR OF THOSE MOP SLIPPERS!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

They're a fun and convenient way to keep your floors clean! Enjoy!
As a flooring installer I can say that is some real clean water for someone’s floors
High praise coming from a flooring installer! 🙌 Glad to have your approval on the clean water front. 😊
this video explained it so much better! always wanted to know if the dirty water was in the same tank! thank you!
So glad I could explain!! ❤️
My biggest complaint about the O-Cedar mop is that the mop head is wayyy too small. I have a lot of hardwood floors to clean. This mop would double my time cleaning.
the original is better and bigger.
I understand your concern about the mop head size-it's important to find a tool that suits your needs. While the O-Cedar mop may not be the perfect fit for everyone, the video aims to help others with similar products. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
I’m sure there’s some kinda after market head that snaps on that’s bigger by now
@@Ethan-dc4dy the original o cedar spin mop is much better I think
Agreed to small
Great explanation
Glad you think so!
Nice explanation but quick question, what if you have to rewet the dirty mop?
That’s the part nobody is explaining. For $50 I expect it to be a true all in one situation but if you have to dip the mil back into the clean water what’s the difference from just using one bucket old school lol
Wondering the same shit lol
Omg thank you. There needs to be a way to release the dirty water into the bottom. Like another hatch. If not it’s just a waste of money 😂
So the tab you pull up the tab it now fills with clean water. So you are never “dipping” into the clean water again. The mop gets a new “pool” of water every-time. I spin my mop out (water goes to the dirty water tank when it spins) before I put it into the clean water so it stays as fresh as it can! @rayrayjams @mividabellisima @simplysarah760
Yes it is!!!! Dirty and clean water are COMPLETELY separate in the bucket! See my comment above
Thanks so much for making this easy-to-follow video!!
You are so welcome! ❤️
You missed the most important directions... You're supposed to do a "rinse" spin of the mop in-between each time you want to start moping with clean water again.
Thanks for the tip! Doing a rinse spin between uses sounds like a great way to ensure the mop stays clean and effective.
But there’s no water left in the mop after you’ve mopped?!
It's the shows for me! I've been wondering how to mop without leaving prints 😅
I use mopping slipper socks! No marks left behind. amzn.to/3YC9pPt
I bought this today! It's not a perfect system, but it works for what I need it for. If you're not careful enough, it can scratch your floor for sure.
That's awesome, congrats on your purchase! It's great that it's working well for your needs. ❤️
Shay got this❤❤❤
Absolutely! Those floors are going to sparkle! 💖✨
Good ol’ mop and bucket without the fancy lazy stuff is the best
Nothing lazy about it! Still have to scrub. Just an easier way to wring out water instead of your hands! ❤️
Thank-you!
You're welcome!
Ty cuz ya girl was confused😂
No problem! Happy to help clear up the confusion. 😄👍
Besides the mop flipping over instead of remaining flat on the floor while mopping and the need for a slightly larger mop head, my floors have never been cleaner. Glad I bought it.
That's great to hear! It sounds like the Ocedar RinseClean Easy Wring Spin Mop is working really well for you!
I've got the Vileda spin mop system. I bought extra mop heads from amazon, but, I also needed an extra handle, so I can mop my floor and use the second mop for rinsing. I found my old vileda with the handle. Definitely need two mops and two buckets.
Smart move! Having an extra handle and using two mops and buckets can definitely speed up the cleaning process. Great tip! 👍😊
where do you rinse the mop before putting it in clean water again?
Clean water pours into the blue one. So you “fill it” by putting the tab, the mop soaks it up, spin out into the dirty then you can get clean water again by pulling the tab where it comes from tbr clean blue water tank and then never touched fresh water
But you’re still putting the dirty mop back into the clean water🤔
@@gplmr32I guess using the spin is supposed to spin out most of the "dirtiness" and such from the mop. They would need to make a 3 part system for that. The 3rd bucket hole of clean water for rinsing mop before moping. Its not a perfect system but its certainly improved from just the old hand wrung mop and dirty water double dipping bucket.🤷🏾♀️😅
Thank you
of course!
I was wondering how you would rinse the mop of dirt if you have to dip it again in the clean water side....but I guess you would be able to pour some water over the mop while its in the spin side to rinse it somewhat before you dip it into the clean water side again.
That's a fantastic idea - just pour a bit of water over the mop while it's in the spin side to give it a quick rinse before dipping into the clean water. Whatever gets the job done efficiently is a win. ♥♥
Only release what the mop will soak up and then you can rinse it in the spinner before you start mopping with it. Just don't release more water than you need and it won't get dirty.
Sorry but I’m so confused. Isn’t the water your letting into the “clean water” top bin already gunna be dirty cause of every time you spin the dirty mop head? Its spinning and falling into the “clean water”
No. Clean water is kept in the blue container. So when you spin, the water from the mop head falls into the dirty water. So when you rinse and spin out the mop head, it falls into dirty.
how do i buy it
Here is the link! amzn.to/46bwwFO
WOW!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
And thank you.
You're welcome! ❤️
I always ended up just leaving the blue piece out and using it like a normal mop so when I moved out of my parents I bought the normal spin mop, I like it much better. maybe if the blue part was bigger and the whole thing came apart to clean easily🤷🏼♀️
Absolutely get where you're coming from! Finding the perfect cleaning tool is a journey, and I'm glad you've found what works for you. Happy cleaning! ❤❤
Did you put water in the bottom to keep it from moving around when spinning? Mine does not spin that smooth
Actually, there's already a stock of clean water in the bucket for rinsing, and that helps prevent it from moving around too much when spinning. If yours isn't spinning smoothly, it might be worth checking if everything is assembled correctly or if there's any debris affecting the spin mechanism.
What is the name of the show you are wearing while mopping?
You mean the mopping socks? Copy and paste the link into your browser for more details about the product, amzn.to/3SARqaL
My mop still be drenched wet. I wonder if I'm supposed to hold the mop handle while wringing it, or hold it loose and let the mop and handle spin on its own?????
You'll want to hold the handle while wringing it to control the spin and ensure it doesn't get too wet. Give it a try and see if that helps! Copy and paste the link into your browser for more details about the product, amzn.to/41uElDM
can you use the other mop head (the white one) with this
No you can’t. They are different size mops/heads :)
@@home_reimagined thank you!! That kind of sucks, I like the white one
My mop rinser doesn’t spin properly and struggles to spin as well with the pedal, is there a way to fix that ?
I would reach out to the company customer service!
So we take the blue bucket out to throw the dirty water every time? How do we rinse the dirty mop and get the clean water to mop again?
The blue is the clean. You pull tab, put mop in, then spin and water falls into grey bucket. So it’s rinsing with clean water, without contaminating the clean water or touching dirty water
How much solution should I add?
I do it by eyeballing, but read the instructions on any cleaner you plan to use. They will tell you how much is needed, depending on how concentrated it is. Thanks!
Doesn’t the clean water get dirty from mopping the dirty floor and contaminate the clean water?
The Ocedar RinseClean Easy Wring Spin Mop actually has a separate chamber for clean water and another for dirty water. This design helps prevent the clean water from getting contaminated by the dirty floor water, allowing you to mop more effectively without spreading dirt around. It's a neat feature that helps keep your floors cleaner!
Do we need to dump out excess clean water after mopping or will it stay fresh until next time?
You'll want to dump out any excess clean water after mopping and give the bucket a rinse to keep it fresh for next time. This helps prevent any buildup of dirt or grime that could affect your next cleaning session. 😊
@@home_reimagined Thanks! Will do!
I still don't get it😔
The first part of it I get, but you didn't show after the first pass on the floor. Do you dump the water where you put the clean water in for the second use of it? If I put the mop back in the clean side to reload after using it would the clean side now be dirty? Does it drain?🤔
You pull the tab in the blue section again and fresh water comes out! So then you spin and dirty water falls into the grey/red side. So it never touches the fresh water, there is always a clean small bucket for it! Just pull the tab
@@home_reimagined the blue side spins and rinses the mop after use? Or do you load the clean water, dip the used mop, and spin it on the opposite side until damp then reload the clean water?
My husband uses the regular spin mop and bucket and I use the Microfiber mop pads and handle from the Dollar tree. It easier to rinse/wash the pads in the sink as I mop, this way the mop pad is clean when mopping each of the sections. I guess I'm looking at that bucket being used in that way🤷🏻♀️
The only thing I dislike about this mop is that the material used for the head mop is cheap. It would be better if it's the same material as the traditional mop. Not worth 50 bucks.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the material. I appreciate your input, and while I understand it might not be the right fit for everyone, the video might still be helpful for others looking into this mop. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
These are so expensive. Would love to have one
It's on sale for Black Friday today!! amzn.to/46bwwFO
When you're cleaning a fairly dirty floor you end up dirtying your 'clean' water side when you wet it after mopping part of the floor. Ideally you'd need a separate ticket of water to rinse your mop in before redipping into the 'clean' water tank...
Let me clarify the Clean water pours into the blue one from its seperate resovoir. So you “fill it” by putting the tab, the mop soaks it up, spin out into the dirty then you can get clean water again by pulling the tab where it comes from the clean blue water tank and then the mop head never touched all the tank of fresh water. So then freshwater tank is never dunked into, keeping it constantly clean and easy to rinse The mop head.❤
Is the mop head supposed to spin? Mine does not at the head I have to keep my hands loose around the handle and the entire thing moves not just the head like the other spin mops I have used… is mine defective?
It sounds like your mop might be defective. The mop head should spin independently. I'd recommend checking the assembly to ensure everything is properly set up. If the issue persists, you might want to reach out to the manufacturer for assistance or a replacement. 😊
I don't think the mop head is supposed to spin. The whole mop head AND the handle spin. You hold the mop handle loosely while you pump the spin foot. It isn't defective
I keep hearing mixed reviews. Some people say it works great and other people say that mop head doesn’t rotate in the rinse bucket properly. Gets stuck all the time.
I have never had those problems! I have had mine for over a year and love it!! No issues for me! 😊
Is the whole mop supposed to spin or just the mop head??
Just the mop head spins! It's designed to make cleaning easier by allowing you to spin out excess water.
@@home_reimagined mine spins the whole mop including handle. Do you know how can I fix it ? :/
I’m confused. So you put your dirty mop in the clean water side and get it soaked and then spin the clean water out in the spinner before mopping? 🤔
Yes, that's correct! Putting the dirty mop in the clean water side helps to rinse off any dirt and grime before you use the spinner to remove excess water. This way, you're always mopping with a clean mop head, which helps ensure a more effective clean! 😊
I tried this mop for me, doesn’t work good need to change the water too many times because the thing it’s very small
Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you! Everyone's experience can be different. For me, this mop has been a game-changer. Been using it for years and loving the results! ❤ ❤
MOLD ALERT!! I love this thing but when you put it way make sure you leave the little rubber lid of the clean water compartment off. I didn’t do that once and only once. It was so moldy and took forever to clean out.
Thanks for the heads up and sharing your experience. Mold is definitely a concern. I've found that regularly airing out the clean water compartment and wiping it down helps prevent any unwanted surprises. Appreciate your honesty and hope your next experience is mold-free! ❤️❤️
I have a problem with putting that dirty mop in the washing machine where my clothes go.. 🤮
You can hand wash it!
Me too😅
I have a septic system so I wouldn't wash it in my washing machine because I don't want all the animal hair my home has put in my septic to clog the filter fast. I rinse the mop head outside and dump the dirty water out on the dirt of my yard.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have this. I don't like that you can never get all the water out of the blue tank . Design flaw.

Why does everyone dump their dirty water in the toilet? I always dump in the tub before cleaning.
My mop head got tangled and no it lumps of tangled microfibers
Hmm how did that happen??
But what I want to know is what are those mop slippers you're wearing! I need those!

Why such a small hole to fill?
The smaller hole in the Ocedar RinseClean Easy Wring Spin Mop is designed to control the flow of water and cleaning solution, ensuring that you don't accidentally overfill the reservoir. It's all about providing ease of use and preventing any potential messes during the filling process.
buy it here amzn.to/41uElDM
The second gen is way way better
But then you dip the dirty mop each time in the clean water
Nope! You pull up the tab and get freshwater each time, it only fills enough to wet the mop head, then spin your mop to remove the dirty water and essentially clean off your mop, then refill the clean water chamber again with the tab (only fills small amount. The large water tank is never touching the mop head) . And spin to remove excess water. You will never ever touch all the clean water, it will constantly be flowing each time you dip your mop in
When you release water in to the chamber, you are putting the dirty water back in, not clean water
Nope. The clean water is SEPERATE, everytime yu open the chamber, it releases clean water ONLY into the blue tub, dirty water is under it, NEVER touches it again. Then you can rinse, spin water into dirty, and fill chamber again (it only fills enough to dunk mop head each time) then you can spin and get excess into dirty and mop! easy peasy and NEVER mixes
Its not working for me it's still very very wet
Sorry to hear that! You might want to try adjusting the amount of water or giving it an extra spin in the wringer. If you need any more tips or troubleshooting advice, feel free to ask.
@@home_reimagined yeah pls like we spin it a lot and its still very wet

Are there written directions anywhere?
And here my dumb ass is using 3 buckets. 🙄
So, people cant read instructions anymore!?
A lot of people are interested in this mop (including myself before buying it) and it can be confusing how the clean and dirty water tanks work. Just offering a visual aid!
That water was barely dirty
That's because I regularly mop my floor, so it tends to stay relatively clean! It's a great way to keep things fresh and tidy.
I actually hate this mop bucket. I must be using wrong
I'm sorry to hear that you're not a fan of the mop bucket! This way has been really effective for me. I hope this helps improve your experience with it!
Great for my wap
I'm glad you found it helpful! ❤️
👎👎👎👎 no me gusto,es mejor el rojo,no tiene sentido ese azul, mas chico mop,, red is fabulous!!
This is the cheapest moped that I have ever had. This mop is something like the one you get. A Dollar Tree for a dollar and 25 cents. Very disappointed in the system, the mop is so like it's unbelievable. It's so cheight and the bucket is cheap too. But I expected a heavier mop s dirty mop. I bought the first system that came out with a real mop and a real bucket. And it lasted for a while, but the pump that you pump the water out of the mop broke. You don't think you can even buy him anymore so they come out with his cheap one that you're seeing here? It's a very, very cheap system and expensive to II can't believe in Walmart is $50. It did worth bringing these small pets are not gon. The last it's total junk, save your money.
Sorry to hear about your experience! I appreciate the heads up. My video aims to help others make informed choices, so hopefully, it'll be useful for them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊👍
