Thank you! Sadly, this has been my experience thus far - every "tutorial" video I watch is selling something. I cannot afford to make any purchases until I begin making income. Not what passive means! I've even paid for classes (a hardship) only to find that I had to pay more money at the end if I want the last step.

Traditional publishing was passive income, in the sense that you create the book or course. Then the publisher handles everything from there, and you just get royalties. (Unless it's an online course where you answer questions.). But you don't have to spend any time or money promoting the product.
But royalties from traditional publishing have been steadily decreasing for decades, due to all the competing content online.
Still need to market the book which is not passive.
@@AlstonGodbolt I never marketed anything. The publisher does it all. They have a large department for that. The author's only job is to write the book.

I don't believe in "passive income" The only thing passive is stocks and exchange traded funds. Everything else takes some more weekly or monthly
