That's the most functional/use for the annual I have ever seen! ♡ I never know what to do for any annual pages. All I do is write birthdays down and I have maybe 10 people that I actually care enough to want a reminder for their birthday so it always end up being blank and wasted. Thank you for the ideas

Oh my gosh! @LindseyScribbles was so right 🎉 This is so helpful. Thank you ⭐️ Getting my brain to focus in a practical way about this stuff these days is like herding cats. I bullet journaled for years, then life kind of exploded and i drifted from one planner to another, without much success. Last year i caved and decided to see why Hobonichi is so popular and I’ve spent a year in a Weeks Mega. I set it up when it arrived in October (in the back) like a bullet journal hybrid and for the first time in years every month and week has been used so far. Which is kind of miraculous to me. I’ve been experimenting with multiple ways of using the weeklies, and am finally inching towards something that works (tho Lindsey’s recent video has me pondering a couple of tweaks to it) and as I haven’t used all the pages in the back yet I went for a regular weeks this year. So I’m pondering how to best set up all the adulting stuff in one place - and this is helping the process enormously. So I’m about to start inhaling your content.

Lol you are not alone! It really is obsessive and someone needs to do a study on the phenomenon! I bought an A5 Avec while I waited for my Weeks Mega to arrive from a Hobonichi group buy online. I have consumed well over 100 videos! And yet it was SO hard to actually put pen to paper lol.
And obviously I watched many - more than once lol like yours!

Jodie Kelly oh no! I put down a full page sticker in my 2020 that went in crooked. I tried to remove and it tore the page. I had to cut the rest of the sticker & also cut the hobo paper... and had to use UnDu for the rest of the sticker. Such an epic fail.
Find some pretty washi or scrapbook paper to glue in?

Loved your video! I have the same acetate paper, but never thought to use it in a dashboard! Question: Have you found an ink to use with stamps that won’t bleed through the Hobonichi Tomoe River planner paper?
Misingyu2 that’s the question right?! Have you tried as many as I have?! So there is one that works... the imprint isn’t as pristine or precise as say the Versa Fine stamp pads, but those bleed like mad!! I ordered this one... works pretty good:

I LOVE your cover solution! On my way to Michael’s now. I too am new to hobonichi so I’ve bought a bunch of stuff to play/experiment with & have struggled with unsatisfying covers. I could use vellum as well, right, to avoid the extra-springy cover?Yay!

@@Addicted2Planning No worries--not so great. I tried it on the cousin and the paper was not the right size. I had a hard time finding vellum. I should try again on my weeks, but haven't got there yet... I'm reserving the weekend of Thanksgiving for planner set up overload!

It is very thin. What is stopping me from buying one is the fact that it takes a bit of time to dry fountain pen ink 😭

Great video, I see the weeks and an ‘almost’ journaling system. I’ve had the standard, the the mega for 2020 and have the standard for 2021. I use it daily and love it but still feel it’s missing something to make it perfect. Do you get what I mean? Maybe I’m just a typical indecisive journal collector? 😂

Daxa Panchal hi there... it’s an Etsy shop. She was very responsive and I’ve since learned that it has something to do with UK-USA shipping. I’ve since received them and they’re wonderful. Josephine Bow Designs is the Etsy shop and I would order again... but would set my expectations to six weeks to when I’ll see them. Why do you ask?
