Hi there, I'm Ellie; welcome to my channel! I'm new to the planner community and have done a pretty deep dive into all of the goodies. I love seeing everyone share what they're using and how they're using it, and I wanted to do the same. As I figure out what works for me I hope to curate a collection that I love and control my fear of missing out and wanting all.of.the.things. This will be a process, but one that I'm looking forward to!

The way that I hold my pen(cil) looks incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, but I promise that it's not! I know it isn't "correct" but it works for me (and yes, I was horrified the first time I saw how it looks on camera!)
Apparently I like to get up close and personal with the paper that I'm writing/drawing on. (Again, this is not something I was aware of until I saw myself on camera.) If you see some frizzy hair popping in and out of frame, well, that's me!
I'm new to filming (and editing and lighting and uploading and all of the CZcams things) so please bear with me as I try to figure it all out. Any (kindly offered) tips are appreciated.

Thanks for sharing this video I really enjoyed looking at how you use your weeks. There were some great ideas that I would like to have a try adapting to my weeks. I really like having the weeks as my little personal planner - my life isn't terribly complicated and so I find there is sufficient room for my planning, and I really love the smaller size. Can I just say I've been TRYING to find a hobonichi like yours to start next year. I'm in a different planner right now for school, but I wanted to venture into Hobonichi without going sticker crazy. I'm so glad to have found your channel and you've given me such inspiration to start one next year once I finish school. So excited!!!

oh my gosh, I love your spread! I really wanted to get a hobonichi too, but for some reason I couldn't find a plain cover with no "year" written on it. I ended up getting a blank Stalogy instead, which I love also! Side note: I'm so happy to see more Canadians on youtube :)

thank you so much for this video which contains a ton of ideas :-) at least, for me there are so many ways of using the weekly layouts which I really like, so that makes me more confident of actually getting a weeks for next year. I am bulletjournalling since 2016 and always used a A5 notebook, so this is something really new for me! But somehow I got so tired drawing all the layouts myself and I even feel I want that "limitation" which a already set layout gives. So let's see how I will end up. I still feel some kind of fear that I end up not using it or feeling too restricted or anything, but well. I feel attracted to the weeks and guess I will give it a try for 2022. Thank you for sharing, helps a lot :-)

I’m so glad you found this video helpful. ☺️ As you could probably tell, I changed things up throughout the year and found the Weeks to be a really flexible system, even though it is quite small. Have you watched any of @lindseyscribbles videos? She uses her Weeks Mega as a bullet journal hybrid and it works really well for her.
I hope you have fun trying the Weeks out and playing around! Once I stopped trying to be “perfect” in it, it was nice to try new things!

My favorite baseball team wasn’t competitor either they had the worded season lol
But I looove the idea to track how season goes/went. I’ll definitely do this next year ! Was it in bullet journal FB group or hobonichi group ? I’ll look and see if I can find more about this :)

I loved tracking how my team was doing and am definitely going to do it again next year and I’ll try to stick with it the whole season (even if it’s a rough one 😂).

You have beautiful handwriting and I love how your book looks. I’ve tried to use my Weeks in a similar way, but mine never turns out as pretty.

Heh, not in the Weeks. It was purely functional for work, but I ended up leaving it for another because it just wasn't big enough for me to write everything I needed to each day. Now my Stalogy B6 is the perfect size for both work and personal (I have to have the divide between both for my poor brain's sake) and I love how I set it up.
It’s so satisfying to find a good fit! I’ve been thinking a lot about trying the B6 size lately, but I’m just not sure what for (and yet I still have the feeling that I’d love it lol) 🙈
I'm new to you channel. I found you by searching Hobo weeks. I have decided to use the weeks mega for everything. I needed to down size for my back. Lol. You gave me great ideas on how to use and organize.I use an a6 md notebook size to sketch in and paint a little. It is in a Chic Sparrow Mr. Darcy leather. It gets heavy. But it is in my back pack all the time as well. I found a wallet on Amazon that is not leather but houses my hobonichi weeks, credit cards, cash, a few stickers, pens, and stencils. So far it is working. But I am missing something leather. 😢🙄
Hi! Thank you so much for watching. 😊 The Hobonichi Weeks is so flexible and I think it will make a great all-in-one system, especially if you’re looking to have a light and portable everyday carry. Leather covers are beautiful, but you’re right, they can definitely add some weight. Will you be moving into your Weeks as soon as possible or waiting until January?

It is from Redbubble and I found my receipt from them, but the link to that particular sticker takes me to a “page not found” page 😩 I looked on Etsy and google too but no luck. If I ever do come across it again I will let you know!

Loved the video. May I ask what kind of paper clip that you have?
Thank you so much! I use a magnetic Oliclip in the front pages (it’s from the Etsy store Oliblock.) To clip the pages together I use book darts that I bought from the Hobonichi website. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching. ☺️

A „standard” calendar stars with Monday - everywhere in the world. Except in that one weird country where they write the months before the day, count the hours of the day twice and measure in “inch”.
It’s not something I was aware of before I found the planner community! Now I am used to and love having the Monday start.☺️ Thank you for watching!
