I’m 52 years old and have been called George since my folks brought me home from the hospital. My sister Pattie, who was 7 at the time said I looked just like our Uncle George because I didn’t have any hair or teeth and either did he. When I started school I didn’t even know my name was Donna.
My husband is the only one at family get togethers that calls me Donna...everyone else calls me Georg. I dropped the “e” when I was in elementary school.
I'm home sick (can't leave the house, can't have visitors). What better time to binge watch planning videos and dig into my Hobonichi weeks. :-)

I loved how you decorated the inside front and back covers of your Banana! I never decorated them but I think this year I will be adding some decoration to my Weeks covers! I’m also having trouble deciding which Weeks to use for work vs everyday, I got the Cactus, Sneaker Matte Black Mega, and Denim Mega. I have those happy planner stickers so I’ll be using them on my months too. :)

glad your 2019 is setup and your happy. I have a strawberry latte weeks Mega but I haven't started using it yet. I received my Hobonichi package today with all my accessories but that is at my parents house along with the weeks package. it will be the first time I try a Hobonichi and your videos are helping me figure out what to do and helping me be patient. I absolutely love the black stickers and the contrast against the banana! Cute quotes! I’m a brown / neutral kinda girl and I was slightly bummed they didn’t have one with a Jan start. My first two Weeks were chocolate & Taupe colors. I ended up with Navy blue Mega for 2019. It’s just a blah color. I’m waiting to see what color schemes the Spring edition comes out in, plus I don’t need a Mega in the Spring. I’m on a long road trip home today so I was tickled to be able to watch your video during my ride! Thanks for sharing! P.S. I’m not driving. 🤗 Joy2Plan ❤️

I love this video!! I'm already set up for 2019, but this definitely makes me want to try hobonichi for 2020. I noticed that the weeks start on Monday for the months and my current setup doesn't have that and it's bothering me enough to do something different next year. Love the washi pack you showed and your sticker packs!!! I do the same thing in mine

I was between the yellow and the denim too. I'm going with the regular denim though. Now I have to sell my yellow mega.
I love watching you talk out/discuss your planning dilemmas with us. For me it’s relaxing to watch. 2019 will be my 1st year using a Hobonichi. I chose the cousin to plan in, but now I feel like I want to try all 3 🙈😂 ..... Good idea to switch to the Banana Weeks!

2019 will be my first year using the Weeks. I chose the black & white gingham -- I'm absolutely in LOVE with it. My anxiety is knowing that I want to use it in 2020 as well, but not knowing what my choices will be! Yeah, I like to plan ahead! Thanks for sharing!!
I love the fact that you and your husband share the same interests. The denim one looks sad to me....too dark. I got the pink one cuz everyone was getting the yellow and I like pink...it makes me happy! I agree with the insides they are boring....gave me inspiration to decorate mine. This is my first year with the weeks and I'm struggling with the layout. I'm use to more realestate to work in but I will forge on and find my groove.

I bought a total of 4 Weeks this year 🤦🏻♀️. Eventually I came to the same conclusion you did- I might switch covers 10 times in 2019 so I might as well pick the color that I was drawn to first. For me it was the pink Mega.

Your banana weeks turned out beautiful! I thought I was getting the banana but ended up with the navy because I had a yellow weeks in 2017. And cover looks great. I never saw that one on the website.
I love your sticker layout! I’m in New Zealand, and about 2 weeks ago, a shop here just started stocking happy planner items, so the whole of NZ now (finally) has 3 sticker packs for sale in a nationwide store lol. One day we will have introvert stickers that I can buy!!

I really think we must be VERY similar. I have also bought three Weeks in preparation for 2019. First Weeks was the plaid cover one which I liked but then decided to go with the Mega. I unsuccessfully attempted to take the first Weeks apart to see if I could use it in a ringed planner as some on CZcams have done. I made a mess. The Mega arrived and I honestly thought it was too big for my needs (all those back pages) and it didn't fit into the wallet/cover thingy I use very well. I then ordered a regular Weeks in the black and white check pattern which is what I now have and am using. I did start using it in November only because this is my first year in Hobonichi. I am still undecided though if I want to use a Weeks or the A6 as my EDC planner and so I have one of those too. So far, Hobonichi has cost me an arm and a leg. Ha Ha Ha By the way ... just a thought ... if you ever need anything that you know is at Hobby Lobby I can always get it and mail it to you. I live practically in walking distance of a Hobby Lobby store here in CT.

Love your inside cover setup...I thought isn't that always the way when you said you gave your stickers away and then needed them!....much prefer the banana to the denim cover too, great choice. I'm using a tie (boar piglets) for my edc this year , and finishing up my teddy bear 2018 right to the end as its been a year full of changes. I want it complete. I've got a strawberry mega in the wings if i need a mega. Which i probably do! I was happy with my use of the back pages this year but felt quite constrained. I think the mega will be the way for me in the future but those boar piglets are too cute! Love your videos x

I nearly bought that sticker pack for my weeks a month ago at Michael's but couldn't bring myself to do it because they were BOGO 50% and I wanted to wait for a better deal lol. I LOVE your stickers! It looks exactly like what I would pick :D
I spent a long time trying to make up my mind between the red and plaid Weeks and between a Mega or Original. I ended up with a red original, and set it up and started trying it out on Nov. 26. I nearly gave up on it! Then I realized the problem was the pen. I was using the pen that came with the 1101 order; then I tried a UniBall RT1. I finally figured I didn't like any hard-tipped pen with the 52 gsm TRP. Now I'm using either a Pigma Micron 005 or a Faber-Castell Pitt pen in XS and all is, well, much better anyway, LOL. But I'll have to watch and make sure the ink isn't migrating through the paper like your LePen did.

Sam! I have the banana Weeks, but it's the regular one, I regret not getting the Mega now beause I'm filling up the back pages very fast and we've not even started 2019! I ordered that cute washi and the same Kitta set too (+ a few more things like the floral cover for the Cousin!). I really hope I will have my order next week :( Isn't the banana yellow just perfect?
I love those stickers! I’m totally an introvert and looove cats but my son is allergic so we had to sell our cat about two years ago, so he says that when he moves out I can get a Maine Coone again 😄

I also changed my mind. I have the plain black one with the white stripe but I am currently in the coffee bean weeks. The plain black just won't look right on the shelf in 2020 next to the coffee bean. Oddly there's no flat spine with a date on it.
I placed an order for the pink (OMG 😮 when did I go pink?) weeks. Those stickers will rock with it. I haven't written in my black weeks but I beaded the bookmarks. Hopefully I can sell on the BST group.

This video totally convinced me to also follow my heart (uhmm, I should have followed my wallet), and buy the Yamazakura weeks (in stock again on the hobonichi site from 12/14, so it was meant to be 😊), even though I already bought a weeks for 2019. Just ordered and am very happy. Love your videos!

I know this video is super old(well not super old, but not super recent either), but Idk if you use the Frixion pen anymore, but if your eraser gets blah, you can buy replacement erasers for it.. I have a pink Frixion pen I got from a lady I got a used Traveler's Notebook cover from, and I've actually been looking at ink and such for it and discovered the replacement eraser "nubs"..
@@samplans I actually saw the Frixion eraser they have while exploring the internet right after posting this comment, but the site I found it on, its one of the "Japan only" items, so its on my list to find somewhere else, lol..

Ha, I was watching this video, and as soon as you picked up your Dymo Omega I was like: "WHAT'S THAT? I WANT THAT!" and I looked for it and ordered it immediately :D Luckily it was just 10 dollars so if I realize I did a horrible mistake, I don't go bankrupt :) But anyways, nice video, got a lot of good ideas :)

I love your set up! But, I have heard and actually seen that when you use the FriXion pens that the ink disappears over time. A church friend of mine lost all of her sermon notes for the whole year.
Heat affects Frixion pens. So if you leave it in your car in the summer, the ink disappears. I had that happen to me once. Something similar may have happened to your friend as well?
Apparently it canned back if you put it in the freezer? Never tried it though

The banana is so gorgeous! Love that you got it so I now can watch you plan in it, was going between banana and denim and landed in denim. Hi Sam, You did well to satisfy your feeling towards yellow. Here we say 'to the heart is not commanded'. And you're right, the yellow version is fine with the flowers of the cover of Cousin that with your cat's A6 one.
I have taken note of some of your ideas for organizing my Weeks, and I will go again to review the video in which you set the Denim Weeks.
This year I also took the Mega Weeks, the red one. But I'll probably take another one, to do the gratitude journal taking advantage of the waiting time when I'm around. And then because I would like to allocate the A6 to the creative part, paint, save tickets, my daughter's paint etc. After all, a second Mega Weeks weighs less than an A6.
If I understood correctly you would sell your Denim. How could we contact us?
