Yay!! 1st looking forward to meeting you at Weekend B! Omg so excited! "Only" 6 HAEDs??? Lol Their sales lately have been killing me. I just got a sweet deal on a bunch of 20 CT inherited from a friend's great aunt. Might have to do a HAED Holiday and start a few on the upcoming various long holiday weekends. I hadn't done a dimensions kit is forever and saw one recently that I bought. Then I saw 4 strands of floss...uh whut??? Nope!!! I might try trading out the fabric for something else but I'll probably end up donating it to my local senior center. Even with silicone thimble pulling that many threads through is time consuming. Loved your wips parade and looking forward to seeing you in June!

Don’t give up on Dimensions, they look amazing when done … When I get frustrated with multiple threads I try using a needle with a bigger eye and it helps …

Whenever I've stitched a Dimensions kit I just use two strands throughout, having tried the 3,4, 5 strands and thought, "nope!". Imo they still look great. Loved your WIP parade, everything looks really fab.
When you stitch the Dimensions kits and use only 2 stands, do you do the full cross? So your whole stitched piece is full crosses instead of some half stitches??
@@Amylovestoads if the chart says full crosses I do them as full crosses. If there are half stitches like for sky or ground cover or shadows, which are charted as half stitches, I do them as either half stitches in two strands or full crosses in one strand.
