I started the Woodland Castle the last week of December - leaving the castle part out and putting in the name and birth date of our new Grandson! He will be 1 yr in March and I thought I could have it finished!! About 2 weeks in I let myself off the hook and realized he would never know if he got it at 1 year or 2 years old... AND I began a simple sampler - the Bluebird Sampler and I work on that after the last dog-walk of the night so I can leave the stress behind and no dream of confetti! I am one bird and one flower farther to the right... and currently taking out two leaves because I miscounted.... enjoyed your video! Happy to know someone else is doing the same thing! And really need to look at the Songbird Garden Series...

Love the Luca-S reindeer and the background patterning did show on camera. I can't believe you held up a Thea G kit I was just drooling over yesterday. I can't wait to see you start it, and will be interested in what fabric colour you decide on. Wow girl you have stitched so much❤ love love your hair too it’s adorable! Well I don’t stitch stockings any longer probably because the last one I stitched too far over to the left of my fabric and I had to take a piece of wool fabric and actually make a small toe for it! It’s super cute and it looks like it belongs there but the anxiety of it all freaked me a little😂 I just don’t see that much any longer so for me it was a challenge! Full coverage Feb? Well I may have to go and get a new purchase! There’s quite a few I’ve been wanting anyway! Blessings to you and your family😊

I love how you adapt your projects to reflect your style. I have been cross stitching for over 50 years and I don't believe I have ever completed a project exactly as designed. I have always considered the instructions to be more of a suggestion. If you remember where you found that toad you inserted into Simplicity, I would appreciate the information. My youngest grandson also loves toads.
Your haircut is perfect. It looks so fun and easy to manage. I was just telling the Mr. tonight that if I sit on my hair and wrench my neck one more time today, I would be greatly tempted to take the scissors to it myself.
February 25th is a popular birthday. I share it with my older brother, his youngest son, a dear friend at church, my step-daughter's youngest sister and now you. I look forward to seeing what you choose for your birthday start. I'm still considering my possibilities.

Amy your new hairstyle really compliments you, youre husband a great stylist. For anxiety you can try taking magnesium glycinate. Ive been diagnosed with anxiety last year and taking meds for it. Recently saw some videos recommending taking magnesium glycinate to help sleep better. And it does help me sleep better and also calms me down. So i dont need to increase the dosage of my meds. But for me it does upset my tummy so im just taking it every other day.
Thank you for the recommendation. My doctor mentioned a magnesium too. And she did increase my medication this week. Xoxo
@@Amylovestoads make sure not to take the magnesium oxide. That's not good. Best ones are the magnesium citrate, glycinate and threonate.

What type of light do you use and magnification?
I had to look it up. I just got a new light a few months ago. It’s called Unolamp Floor Lighting by The Daylight Company. For magnification, I only use my reading glasses. They are prescription. I went to the eye doctor and told her I cross stitch and I needed good reading glasses. Each of my eyes is a different number.
