So sorry for your loss ❤. It’s incredibly hard when our beloved pets leave us. I loved seeing all of your WIPs. You are a super stitcher. Wow. Hope you’re doing well and happy stitching!
Amy, I'm so sorry for the loss your sweet Nellie. I hope somehow stitching that HAED with the wild beast helps you adjust to her loss, and to enjoy memories of her. All your WIPs look wonderful. Wishing you a happy, healthy 2024. Take care, and happy stitching, Arleen
Thank you for sharing your WIP's and pets with us... ☺ Sorry about Nellie... ♥ She was fortunate to have such a loving family ♥ And thank you for holding up your WIPs long enough for us to actually see them! ☺
I am so very sorry for the loss of your fur-baby Nellie. It is one of the hardest things to go through. Loved seeing all your wips! I even had to stop the video and go track down Mr. Baron Von Bat! LOL! He is too cute! I really liked how you did your wip parade breaking them down into the sections. You have some great projects going and I am excited to watch your progress updates this next year. Take care of yourself and happy stitching! - Laura
I am so sorry for your loss of Nellie. I just lost my boy Bubba, a few months ago. It is so hard. I love seeing all your wips. Your animal and nature stitches are wonderful.
Loved seeing all your beautiful projects. I'm so sorry to hear about Nellie. Losing a beloved pet is so hard. May you be blessed with sweet memories to comfort you.
Amy, I'm so sorry you lost Nellie, especially on a day that should bring only happiness 😪. It's so tough when they go. I hope your little grandson can bring a smile to your face when you're missing her. Loved seeing all of your projects, and I'm glad you plan to give them lots of love in the upcoming year😊
Hi Amy, I am late in watching this video so I just learned about poor Nellie. Sending you a big hug! Thanks for putting together a beautiful WIP parade even though you were/are grieving. I’m looking forward to stitching more with you in 2024! ❤ -Leah
So sorry about your puppy. But joy, you have so many fantastic wips!!! Like I’m always saying, patterns you don’t see everywhere!! And they all are…just so you!!! Hope you have a nice New Year’s Eve and day. Get to work on those wips!!!
Thanks for the parade. So sorry about your baby ... it gave a whole new meaning to that demon piece. I haven't known many of that breed who weren't pretty mean. But you love them anyway...
You have an incredible variety of anazing projects. Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts. Happy New Year, Amy.
Hi! So sorry to hear about Nellie. Our fur babies are so hard to say goodbye to. I have. Lot on my simplicity to do as well and am on needlework press and be kind. Also trying to plan to get a full coverage done by end of May. 😂 will see! Wow 4 over 1on 36!how do you make that work? The owl is so adorable..thanks for the great wip parade. Hugs Amy😢❤
I loved your WIP parade. There was no rambling, no children making impromptu appearances (children in videos make me nervous because of all the oddballs out there), no WIPs with 1 stitch, and so forth. I loved your grandson's WIP. Your entire demeanor changed when you mentioned him. It was a blend of joy and pleasure. And then there was Nellie. It saddened me to hear she died and the picture of her at the end made me cry. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry that you lost your fur baby.😢 How about putting your dad's name at the top of the Blackbird brick house pattern? You have great wips. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I loved to hear the story about your grandpa. Grandpa’s were always my favorite. My husband’s grandpa’s name was (Well what everyone called him) was JL. I asked him one time what JL stood for. He said “JL”. But I do believe that was his actual name. 🤷🏻♀️
Hey Amy, great WIP parade. I spent the evening sitting up projects for 2024. One of my planned starts is the Native American maiden.. Undecided on the fabric. What fabric are you stitching yours on ? I must have missed the fabric name when you showed yours. Thank you for taking the time to do a WIP parade. So sorry for your loss of your sweet dog..... Happy Stitching and have a blessed 2024....Pam
Hello Pam, Native American maiden is beautiful. I am stitching her on 32ct. Vintage Country mocha. I saw a flosstuber, ‘Stitching Becca’ stitch and finish her on that fabric and she turned out perfect. 🤗
I’m so sorry to hear about your dog! She sounds like a character. Thank you so much for sharing your WIPs; I saw so many beautiful pieces that I haven’t seen other places and it was so refreshing! I am gearing up to start a HAED, and I am finding it pretty intimidating. Love the patterns you are stitching!
My dearest friend, Amy. I miss you!!! I loved seeing all your projects, and I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet Nellie. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Hugs!
Hahaha! You had me at “I love a vulture.” Thanks for the WIP parade! Love everything you do. As always. ❤️❤️❤️. I’m so sorry about Nelly, she had such a great life with you. 😘
Amy my heart goes out to you! You have wonderful memories. Your videos were fabulous thank you for sharing. I am working on 1 full coverage & I love it it's alot of black. Glad to see you have several. Hoping to get it done in 24.See you next year❤
Hi Amy........ so sorry for your loss of Nellie. Fur babies are such a part of the family... Thanks for sharing your WIP parade....... Best to you in 2024.
I am so sorry for your loss with Nellie. Animals are our babies and we grieve. Hugs to you and your family. Loved the WIP parade. I hope that you have a happy New Year!
So sorry on losing Nellie! That’s the hardest thing to lose a pet💔. Your stitching is gorgeous. Some of your wips have the best saturated colors. Like a photo. Happy stitching and Happy New Year🎉
Hello friend!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2024! Your WIP parade was amazing as always! I am sending you lots of hugs, so sorry to hear of the loss of your Nellie girl ❤
Happy New Year! I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet Nellie! It’s so hard to lose our fur babies😢😢 My heart hurts for you💗 Thank you for your WIP parade. I enjoy watching all of your videos.
Have a Happy New Year Amy. Enjoyed this Video wrap up. And I like your plans to stitch what you have and give them some love. Glad to hear the Owl survived it is so beautiful. Take care
Hi again, Amy. Another comment, totally unrelated to this video but related to your finish a long time back of Kooler Studio's Anniversary Sampler. I'm just starting it - on 32ct linen - and I see now that the pattern is calling for 3 strands. I don't like stitching with 3 strands if I can help it, so I'm wondering if you stitched it with 3 strands. I don't think so?? And what did you do with the blends that call for 1 strand of 1 colour, and 2 strands of another? And then there are parts of the pattern using only 1 strand. I also see that there are a lot of 1/4 stitches, but the pattern doesn't show any symbols in those spots, just backstitching along the outside of these areas, like the leaves and the birds' tails.. Did you leave the 1/4 stitches unfilled? There are so many of these stitches, thinking it might look much smoother and nicer stitched, but maybe choppier is the effect they're going for, and that can work nicely. Help! I know it was a while back, but if you can remember, would appreciate any help. I'm stitching it as a commemorative piece for my mom, as we gardened through many years, planting, feeding the birds, watching the squirrels and just enjoying nature. I so miss having a garden, love seeing yours in the nicer weather. I'll put her name on it and change the text as well. Thank you, Arleen
Hello, it may sound crazy but I stitched my Anniversary sampler on 35 ct. I used one strand of floss all of the regular cross stitches. I used one strand for the half stitches. I used 2 strands of floss for the blends. I never used 3 strands. I feel like I did stitch some 1/4 stitches but I don’t remember what they looked like on the pattern. I high lighted my pattern and then throw it away after I finished. I remember it being a very enjoyable piece to stitch. It will be a treasure in your home to remember your mom. 🤗
@@Amylovestoads Thanks so much, Amy. If you used 1 strand for both regular and half stitches, and yours looked lovely, then I should be fine using 2 strands for both, it'll just look a bit heavier than yours. I'll play around with it. I also have the Woods Behind My House pattern and have been enjoying watching yours come to life. It looks great on the fabric you chose. Thank you, and take care, Arleen :)
The birdhouses are absolutely beautiful!! Loved the garden sampler as well❤ Your stitching is just gorgeous!!
