Thank you so much for your video... I was so excited to see the notification pop up 😊 I am fairly new to your channel and love everything you stitch. You have such a varied taste. I am newer to this so I love to see your selection. My favorite sound of all time (from a Flosstube) is a tortoise stuck in a wooden stool dragging it across the floor... honestly! The needle book idea in the basket is wonderful... I can hardly wait to see that come to fruition. I saw the video where you show the nest biscornus and I almost fell on the floor. I was sad because I knew I could never make one, BUT I just found a gorgeous vintage style round clock at the thrift store. It's a birds egg pale blue green. I am stitching a Robin for it now, but hope to be brave enough to stitch a nest soon. Thank you for your inspiration 💕 I love the tortoises, possums, toads, shaky chihuahua... all of it! ☺️ Laurel 🇨🇦

On the blue jays pattern when it is a half stitch do you do it from left to right / or from right to left \ ? I am working on funny rabbits from riolis with the wool thread. I wish I would have thought to convert to Dmc. Thanks
I am always glad to see your flosstube. I would like to try the blue jay’s like you are doing.
I stitch my half stitches from top right to bottom left. It is the opposite of what the directions show on the Riolis pattern but I wanted my legs to all be going the same way as I stitch. I hope that makes sense. Xoxo

What brand/ size is your needle?
Bohin needles is what I usually use. A size 28. Unless I have to use more than 4 threads then I use one with a bigger eye like a 26 or 24. Happy Spring 🎉 xoxo
