I used to play with one of those golgari dudes when he lived in Wellington. The last time I saw him he let me go through his trade binder and pull out any cards I needed. I didn't have my trades on me and he just said dont worry about it, we can sort it out another time. I turned up with my folder the next day and found out he had moved to Dunedin lol real good guy who just wanted to help me out, and those cards weren't cheap
I really loved the "End Step" showing a more humane side of yourselves, not just the game.
I'm really looking forward for more Vlogs, great work as always, congratz!

Im in New Zealand now, arrived a few weeks ago, I sat down at king of cards in Auckland and had a blast playing a commander precon with locals.
I think the magic community is awesome and welcoming basically everywhere around the World. :D
That end step conversation is heart-warming and full of truth. Hey man, just wanting to say thanks for the awesome day, the boys and I really enjoyed your company and especially appreciate the driving to and from Dunedin for 6 hours, you're da real MVP.
That end step though, that really got me and the others who I showed this to. At first some of the guys felt like we as were separate from the crew and cast as extras(walking props), and that had flagged our morale, especially with that brutal last week. But now we are starting to feel like any sort of barriers before are slowly disappearing, that we all can work hard together to get this project done, which ties into your explanation of community. As extras, we got your guys backs, this film is gonna be sick.

I was fortunate enough to have the same experience in Spain. I played in many Magic events and I was able to join the cities Magic community. Til this day, I still talk to them and we even collaborate on decks. Glad you had that experience Jimmy!
