Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Out of all the reviews of this on CZcams shart manages to still do stuff they didn’t do.i always wondered if they did a different size stand for him and now I finally have my answer.but I do agree with the other youtubers that select is the best.and now I really see the multiple colors of green on this fig.

Hey shartimus great review. I also recently got my mezco one 12 Gladiator Hulk from bigbadtoystore. All the reviews I've seen have seen the body and head color are really different. And the green is very green! But on mine I have to say is a much more screen accurate color and the head and body are a much closer match in color. I do agree that articulation could be much better for sure. But the sculpt and paint apps are great. Honestly I feel like I got a better piece in terms of the body color than what most reviewers must have gotten. Overall I like the figure but it definitely should have been better coming from mezco. Please do that Gladiator Hulk comparison video. Thanks.

Nice, honest video as always! Mezco jumped on the hype train and failed ( not "sales" wise ).. I appreciate Mezco's effort but I believe, they shine more when they work on characters that compliment their "cloth" gimmick. Kinda like Popeye..

It’s the most accurate hulk head sculpt there is imo. The figuarts body is awesome, but the heads not so much

I feel like someone at mezco had a deadline the day before vacation and got lazy with the rest of the paint aps. Unfortunate, because aside from the paint, I feel this is the better of the 3 gladiator hulks compared on this video. I'm late to the party,but just saw Ragnarok for the 1st time so..

You know, it's the soft goods that keeps from buying Mezco figures. They just don't look right and remind of the old Mego figures I had as a kid in the 70s.

I dunno man maybe it's your lighting but the green tones don't look all that much different to me. That articulation though...what a bummer. How is it that this Hulk can do a better split than most Spidey figures yet the articulation is still so limited?? I really don't understand some of the choices they make with the figures...
The green tones are greatly different. Watch this on a larger screen or adjust your monitor.
