Because people compare it to a hot toy or the marvel select or whatever, its not made for extreme poseability... It does look great tho, those that clown on this aren't serious collectors and don't know the difference..
The real tragedy is that this made me cancel my Thor as well, and he looks great. They would have looked so great together if this figure was what they initially showed us. It's a shame, but I'm not having Thor hang out solo, and don't want to cross lines yet. Big letdown Mezco.

The other reviews i've seen have said the same about the paint being different to the body!,glad you mentioned the Hot toys Hulk as he costs way more than this with less articulation!,i can now see the difference in the paint thanks to your photos at the end,nice job as always,i don't think though that Hulk deserves that much scorn,yes i'll still consider Hulk for my mezco collection,although I may also now consider one of the other hulks also,thanks

Not really. The armor pieces hanging from the waist look cheap and that silver war paint instead of off-white is just WTF. And the various body parts are different shades of green. Gross.
The sculpt of this figure is awesome but articulation is atrocious. I will keep mine. The vanilla poses are alright and looks best when placed beside Thor.
What about for 90 free shipping brand new. Would you do that for this. Someone literally just accepted my offer on eBay. But idk now after watching this

@D Amazing do you think changing the neck ball joint will give more range in the head movement or maybe shaving down the inner leg ends can give better ankle articulation?
I have to agree with the comparisons with Hulk, especially with the Select version which will be my next purchase due to it's size which is realistic. I do have S.H. Figurarts version (my preference as well) giving some great forms of poses. Great video. Best in 2019.
It says a lot that this figure is notably less posable than the Marvel Select version. Not a great showing from Mezco when they can't top a figure that runs a third what their version does in terms of cost.
I got the Marvel Select when it first came out. Nothing that has come out since has interested me (beyond my addictive urge to own every figure that exists). The only thing it gets wrong is Hulk's hair cut. I can live with a different hairdo very happily and spend the $100 I saved, on other figures..
Wow!!!, what a let down!!!!!!! The best (only) articulation there is on this figure is the pulling off the head :) There's absolutely no excuse for the bad articulation and especially the colour mismatch issues. I cancelled both Thor Ragnarok figures out of principle

That's so true, he's often able to look past the flaws and just enjoy the figure but this figure is just really bad, also expensive.

Well, Mez did say he wanted to do Hot Toys in 1:12 scale so I guess he just copied their articulation scheme and figured fans would be ok with it 🤔
The Marvel Select version is a home run imo, so glad I saved the insane amount of 💰 and skipped this.

a figure , like this one, that's actually STURDE & DURABLE and with good movement without being ridiculously over articulated....no we don't want that
