Melted E39 Blower Resistor Wiring | 540i Restoration

Air conditioning is almost as important as Horsepower....... Oh heck, who am I kidding? Horsepower is way more important. But it does get hot here and it was about time to look into why my blower only worked intermittently. Turns out that at some point in the past, the blower resistor had failed and melted the connector. I replaced the connector and pins and now have full blower control.
