Yes-
The beauty of the Clara character is because of that moment where she split herself through the timeline she could come back as one of the splinters. And Big Finish audio has the rights up to the end of the Smith era, which includes Clara, so if they can reunite David Tennant and Catherine Tate and bring John Hurt back as the War Doctor, which they have done, they might be able to get her and Matt together again. I think Clara will not be killed off, though.

I had a hard time warming up to Clara at first, probably because I'm still not over Amy and Rory. but I do appreciate her cleverness.
Nobody will ever truly get over Amy and Rory's departure.
Very sad to see her leave. I love Jenna and her character Clara. I'll look forward to seeing what she does next.
It makes me sad to think that Dr Who is in some ways ending with Clara, Moffet, and supposedly Capaldi leaving I fear it wont be the same as the Moffet era and it makes me sad

Its almost as though doctors and assistants get a max of 3 seasons. Tennant, Smith, Coleman, Capaldi
It's the "Troughton Rule". Do three seasons, and get out. Keeps you from being typecast, and British TV doesn't pay so much that you can have a run on a hit show and be financially set.

Jenna may have been the best of the Companions, yet. I had suspected she would leave the show when when Peter Capaldi took over the Dr Who roll. I had hoped that her departure would have been a bit different, but I guess the Impossible Girl had to have this ending. I wish Jenna Coleman the best and hope to see her on TV or the movies in the future.

the Clara's (echo, prime, ghost) = she is a very popular companion of nu who. people say Clara is the Sarah Jane Smith of nuwho. she is like this nurturing, flawed, amazing, and normal character that we all admire. it is sad she is gone in a way that will make people all teary. as for Clara's to return, it could be more like an echo or let's just say a hallucination telling the 12th Doctor to regenerate and move on. depending on the finale, if Clara prime appears in some form that allows her to come back again in some way that Jenna could return as Clara prime. but we shall see. also it is okay to watch a particular era for a certain character as a starting point before going into other eras or not. for me when 9th doctor left, I stopped then came back for the 11th.
Matt + Clara is my favorite combo. I wish they had at least one more season together 😢

Clara for president and Jenna as the next DOCTOR WHO A female doctor with some visits to Jane Austin Strax for companion.Thank you Jenna, for the countless hours of beautiful acting, and all of your faces I wished Steven would have had the guts to write your exit himself, but he left it to someone else. A missed opportunity. I would have loved to see a more serene exit. Like in the snowmen. Thanks for being the best ever companion!!

When asked if she would like to return in a one-off episode or as a cameo, she replied: "it all depends on the story." Billie Piper said the same thing a few years ago during the 50th anniversary special. We still haven't seen her back yet. Hopefully one day we can see all of the past and present companions return for a big episode (or a few).

a Raven. Clara's mother's maiden name is Ravenhome (sp?) and Clara did wore a Raven necklaces before FTR episode came on.

One thing that bothers me is that the doctor noticed the diner was in _'the wrong spot'_ and that _'he couldn't find the tardis he stole'_. It makes me think clara stole his tardis, and the diner was just a perception filter, but why? Possibly to go save danny pink some how. When she met her offspring, he was _'decended from time travelers'_ and his name was orson pink.

hmm..now on another note. the question is: how long Dr been knocked out? How long did time-frozen Clara time traveler with Ashildr to get Danny back and bore his offspring that lead to Orson being born?
the problem is that Time-frozen Clara does not have a heart beat because her death is a fixed point. So she could not return to normal life and bring Danny back unless they exiled themselves some isolated place on earth for many decades.
There is so many possibilities due to these hidden hints that we could only wonder what is the long term plan of Clara-prime, Ashildr, Orson pink, and much more.

Clara brought the doctor back to earth in the new tardis.
What she did with it after that is up to her, even returning it when she is finished with it later, as if she never borrowed it.
I wouldn't put it passed her, the doctor and clara are VERY MUCH ALIKE. They pointed that out with a lot of stress, which is the hint I ran with :P
There really is an infinite amount of possibilities there.
That moment when you're a Doctor Who AND a Sherlock Fan and after Series 4 of Sherlock you just think: Why do people always give up after three??? Just stay a little longer! And I don't mean just for the companions but also for the doctor. WHY ALWAYS AFTER 3? :(
Think of it this way - how many book series or film franchises do you know where the fourth book or film is as epic as the first one, or the first three? And would more than 39 chapters in a trilogy feel like more than all the story had been told? Of course, these aren't set-in-stone limits, but it does tend to follow the same principle; after a while all that can be told well gets told and more feels like overegging it. Trick of the mind that it feels like that could never happen.

+FullmetalandtheFlame - I was also meant to say that at the time Witches' Familiar was shown that was a fan speculation at the time. now with Hell bent shown based on Ashildr's own words about "Missy the master. the lover of chaos." Right there is evidence based on Ashildr's comments that she is NOT Missy's daughter assuming Ashildr was telling the truth the whole time in Hell Bent episode.

I havent liked the new doc that much at all, just too boring and dull, let alone hard to understand. I loved Clara, she was hot and made the show for me. With her gone.....meh, guess Ill watch them later on DVR when i have time on my hands.

It's weird how much Jenna is detached from Clara...Jenna seems to be the least excited person on earth about doctor Who as the entire concept...meanwhile Clara Oswald was the ULTIMATE companion...who embodied the most the whole essence of the Doctor's companion...i literally started to watch Doctor Who because i got caught by her beauty...and then it just sucked me in...in a way it is comforting to see how distant and unrelated they are...it kinda means that Jenna did a good job in locking Clara in that universe...so the two never cross their paths...i mean if you look st Karen...Karen is such an Amy Pond...but Jenna is literally like : Doctor Who???

You know why Moffat have made this ending for her? Well, because there was only one thing to do with a such an awful character, to make it somehow interesting. Honestly, I felt very bad for everyone after season 7 in Moffat era, these actors didn't deserved the writting that got worse and worse every time.

I'm sorry, but I find her incredibly boring, as both actress and as a person. I have nothing against her, she seems very nice, but there is just nothing there. I thought Clara was very badly written. I know it's a bad thing to say but I think Moffat was just drawn to her looks.
Really? I mean, to each their own. While I also have some issues with the character, I love the actress, and not for her looks (I discovered her in a video game at first). It could have been better, but I'm rewatching Capaldi's seasons at the moment, and while my issues with Clara stands, I can't see a "faux pas" on the acting part.
