Loved him in Dangerous Liaisons. I will be sitting on my sofa in my Tardis onesie on August 24th morning welcoming him and going on the adventure with him as I have with them all since William Hartnell. was great to be there at the State Theatre Tuesday 12th August 2014, the place was electric..and to find that Peter Capaldi was at the back of the room at the end of Deep Breath was great..And to see Jenna Coleman & Peter on stage was fantastic

That change over is interesting. I remember on DW Confidential that Matt was waiting on the set watching DT do his last shot. And he said how nervous he was watching DT do the regen scene

i may be wrong but i think they plan to release the whole Q and A session after the new series starts, just so people have a chance to watch the whole thing without having to worry about spoilers.

They did mention Peter. Someone said on the radio that he should be the next doctor just before Doctor Who Live: The Next Doctor was about to be broadcast. It was leaked.
He's talking about before that. It was rumored (correctly) for about a month before the announcement that Capaldi was cast, but before that Capaldi wasn't mentioned among the rumored early candidates like Rory Kinnear, Dominic Cooper, and Helen Mirren.
Dominic Cooper would actually make a good male companion, not a Doctor...

As for what Peter calls himself "100% Rebel Time Lord"you can clearly see he is a man with attitude and he is preparing the whole world to expect,from when the show starts is a closed hearted,cold blooded Doctor with a unpleasant demeanor to boot.The gloves come off and the Doctor will be aggressive against his foes.However I am all in it for Peter Capaldi's Doctor.

2 days to go till the day of deep breath airs in UK. great we wll finally work out whether Capaldi is a good match as the Doctor or a disliked doctor cause I watched classic colin baker episodes 6th doctor and he is my least favourite doctor I hope Capaldi does'nt do as bad a colin baker :]

You need to give him a chance. The Doctor is still The Doctor no matter what face he has. Peter's first episode hasn't even aired yet and here you are saying that you don't like him. I personally didn't like 11 at first, but at the end of his first series I loved him. All I'm saying is please don't be so quick to judge. I believe Peter will be amazing!
