It has been 5 years since she left Doctor Who and she literally hasn't aged a day.
literally?
At this point, I wouldn't be suspicious if this is a Clara splinter called Jenna from Trenzalore running around.
it’s been 5 years??. Ohmygod 😅😅
29 to 34 isn't much though.
5 years? No way! She's like china
So cute when she runs through her house to get the DW prop.
i agreee. like, adding to her existing cuteness.
Miss her and Capaldi
Dont be Lasagna
Don't we all
Same
I liked Matt more
Capaldi was shit haha
The serpent is absolutely phenomenal her acting is bloody brilliant
I thought she couldn’t top Victoria and then did with the cry and then now has topped the cry with the serpent
My favourite actress of all time and is honestly too talented
Same❤
Wow, her library is amazing! So fancy! She probably reads a lot. Besides, she’s very sweet and intelligent too.
I couldn't agree more! She seems absolutely lovely! ❤
That is the library in the beautiful home she has shared with Tom Hughes.
@@quotidiantheatrecompany9163 didn't they break up
@@iz723 No, they didn't. They are still happily living together, regardless of the lies the tabloids write about them.

Jenna was perfectly cast for The Serpent! Such a great actress!
We deserve a series following Clara's adventures, I love Jenna
could be big finish, perhaps
Is a bit of hanging thread isn't it?
yes please, I would rather see the adventures of Clara and Me than the stuff that that going on in DW right now
YES
Not with chibnall very very very very very sadly
The accent she does in The Serpent is just immediately SO HOT. Goodbye me as I combust on this earth
I KNOW!! 😳😳
@@roxannert2099 I'm happy that she could put herself in the headspace of the actual character, but I agree it's not a good representation at all of French Canadian!
the whole aesthetic of the room behind her but more importantly THE FUNKO POP! she has a pop figure!! what an absolute queen! 😍
Cute, isn't it? A fan made that for her. It's of her character in the play All My Sons.
You work as a deliveroo driver, you take a delivery up, and Jenna Coleman answers the door in a dressing gown...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Bow Chicka Wow Wow, indeed!
“I’m in my dressing gown”“Anything could happen”
@@willfearon5663 No.
@@sonicscrewdriver why not
She's so beautiful and cute and when she done the French accent in the serpent omg be still my beating heart. I love how she was so excited to show off things she'd collected
I love Jenna Coleman. She's IMO the most talented TV actor in the country; her level of commitment in all her roles is staggering.
Aside from maybe Michelle Pfeiffer, who was untrained, I think Jenna's the greatest living actress as far as raw, natural talent is concerned. Rosa Salazar and maybe Anna Passey are the only actresses in her generation whom I consider to be on her level and the only reason Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Helena Bonham Carter, Helen Mirren, Tilda Swinton and Judi Dench (my top 10 greatest actresses are all in this comment now) rival her is because they have more experience, not more talent. Talent is something you're born with and while it's perfectly possible to develop skills, it's harder to do so if you don't have a predisposition for them. Michelle Pfeiffer was born with a natural ability and required very little, if any, conventional training. Jenna had some training but if I'm not mistaken, she also skipped drama school to join Emmerdale so I don't think she needed to be taught much because intelligence and intuition seems to be more than enough for her. She seems to be one of those rare actresses who was born with a natural ability and has the dedication to keep building on it. She also strikes me as a perfectionist so she includes little nuances and details that would make Laurence Olivier proud (or maybe jealous). It's even a little intimidating because perfection doesn't exist so when I see Jenna, part of me is thinking "this woman is too good to be true. What's the catch?"
She is yes along with Lily James too (Downton Abbey,War and Peace, The Pursuit of Love and Tom and Pammy) I love them two. I hope they will work together on a project soon!
She is outright adorable. She's the one you would love to take home (like that's gonna happen!). I've seen her in "Doctor Who", "Victoria" and "The Cry" over here in the US, and just love her work. And in the interviews she gives, she doesn't seem to let being 'a star' get to her; she's just a regular person. Good things come in small packages. Looking forward to "The Serpent" when it gets over here on video.
I discovered her watching The Serpent. And I thought to myself "This has to be the most beautiful woman I've seen on screen in years". 😻 Jenna is totally gorgeous, intelligent and so charming. Can't get enough of her 💕
Jenna is a badass actor, and hopefully, she does more movies in the States.
I love that Jenna likes to get into the minds of her characters. She was the first person who got me really interested in how a characters thought processes work. Clara became my favourite character in Doctor Who thanks to her and Steven Moffat, who of course created the character, and she's also one of the main reasons why I like writing complex female characters.
I really hope Jenna has a long healthy career. She truly does uplift anything she appears in. We really are in need of great actors, and I consider her to be one of the very best
matt smith was so good, she was his best companion, they played so well of each other
Jenna was in Captain America 10 years ago. She looks like she has barely aged over the last decade.
She's the cutest!
She should’ve been Belle in beauty and the beast
If Emma Watson had quit Hermione Granger (if I'm not mistaken, and I might be, she considered doing so at some point around the forth or fifth movie due to her interest in getting educated), Jenna would've been my first choice to replace her.
She was my biggest crush 😻 on Doctor who

@@Messimaad14 she’s my crush now ❤️ so pretty

@@el-nk8im who doesn’t 😍have you watched her movie seprent on bbciplayer about finish?
😍😍😍 beautiful
My favorite companion. Loved her both with Smith and Capaldi. Wish they'd made so many more seasons together :(
Jenna so beautiful and cute. Looking at her role in “The First Avenger” she’d be great in a period WW2 role written by same writers of Matt Smiths Dr Who
I kept on thinking the pin above his head was something on my screen
"I feel the ether flowing through me!"
No wonder I love Melia in Xenoblade. Jenna voiced her and it reminds me of her being Queen Victoria. I wonder if playing the role of Melia helped her with being the Queen? 😍😍😍
So she's Melia Antiqua's VA. Great.
she absolutely nailed that french accent, I'm dying to see this!!!
No she didn’t. She didn’t sound even remotely close to a French-Canadian accent. She did a purely Parisian accent. That’s like someone playing someone from Scotland and the actor speaking in a cockney accent.
The only people who agree with this are people that have never heard how Québecois people speak.
@@FireRayquaza24 Absolutely not
@@anthonyluccini1015 Not an argument
@@anthonyluccini1015 No one cares if you’re French. She’s not speaking in a Québécois accent
“I didn’t really do anything” SIS YOU WENT ON A DATE WITH BUCKY FREAKIN BARNES AND GOT TO ACT W SEBASTIAN STAN DONT EVEN😂
THIS!!!!
I watched The Serpent a couple of weeks ago . I always thought Jenna Coleman looked like a pretty little girl , but wow , she can act !! This beautiful lassie delivers . The Serpent was the best thing I have watched in ages . I didn't see The Crown , or Doctor Who . But now , anything she is in I will watch .👍🧚♀️🧚♂️
that's such a good interview!!! she's the cutest! and i love the interviewer! he's so sweet.
Jenna, still adorable and amazingly talented! I have to say an out of frame foot tap is better than having a play’s director covertly rush out and put your on fire costume out during a live performance (of Frankenstein, v. Gianella’s)
I’d like to hear you singing more!
I had never heard of her until shortly before this video. She is amazing. She comes across so well, so down to Earth.
Natural beauty and good acting and talented~Jenna Coleman .love Jenna colema very much.
She is ridiculously cute. And soooo good in The Serpent.
She's an amazing actress!
And beautiful 😍😍😁😁
A piece of the TARDIS control room? That should be in a shadowbox. Then again, Liv tyler for the longest time kept Arwen's Hadhafang sword in a box in the attic. So I think it should be fine in her library. :)
The best Doctor Who companion.
By a long way!
@@mymartianhome Most of them have been great though, you can't say Rose,Amy and Donna weren't good !
@@mymartianhome Clara's my favourite character in Doctor Who. I didn't like Capaldi at first and in many ways, Clara seemed more like the Doctor than him. Capaldi grew into his own Doctor but without Clara, I wouldn't have been there to see it.
Loved her with Capaldi in Doctor Who! Would love to see her do a cameo in the current season with Jodie if its after the fact since she's flying around out there or could honestly just be anywhere on her timeline really. Love Jenna and great interview.
WE LOVE YOU JENNA ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had no idea Jenna Coleman was in Captain America. Very cool!!
She is ..... fab u lous and Ali's interviews are the best - most enjoyable moment :-)
I love her ♥️ Clara is my favorite companion and love her in all her roles especially the serpent and Victoria ❤️❤️❤️❤️ she's so great.
Jenna is so sweet, kind, adorable, beautiful and talented. My favourite actress of all time. ❤😍🌹😘
Great interview Ali, such a good actress!
Watching from Russia. A stunning and legendary series, the play of the actors and the entire film crew is something amazing. I wish you happiness and the continuation of the series in the new year!
watching from russia too! hiya!))
You can see her Christmas tree in the background LOL
“I had the questions”😂😂😂
She’s just stunning. Perfect in every way
Miss her, 11 and 12...
This is awesome I love her I would love to see her back on Doctor Who she rocks
Is it odd that I did not recognise Jenna in that captain America scene till I watched this interview? feels weird knowing the amount of stuff she has been in since then. Side bar Jenna is definitely my favourite companion of the doctor.
Jenna's perfect. Easily one of my top 3 of the Doctor's companions. I immediately fell in love with her the first time I saw her in Doctor Who.
Clara's my favourite character in Doctor Who. Yes, I said character, not companion. However, Jenna Coleman's the living definition of too good to be true. Doctor Who acknowledged that Clara seemed too perfect - that's why Matt Smith's Doctor was suspicious of her and Peter Capaldi's Doctor even anticipated that she would betray him - but although Clara's flaws were revealed during the Capaldi era and contributed to making her my favourite character, Jenna herself has managed to maintain the illusion of perfection. What's the catch?
Just watched "The Cry" and she was hands down the best thing in it.
I got chills hearing her voice again... lol it’s been a while since I watched drwho
She is so cool and pretty
I soooo miss Clara on DC the last proper companion we had !
I’m curious if anyone mentions her roles before she became TV famous. If I was to meet her at any point, I’d be sure to ask her what it was like as a new actor for emmerdale, but I’d be curious what it was like voice acting for the video game xenoblade chronicles because it’s so different compared to being on a set.
How is THIS how I learned Jenna was in Captain America?! I had a Marvel phase a year ago and did not know this
I can't be the only one who really wanted Jenna to answer the question "What momentos have you kept throughout your career?" with "Yeah, I've still got the tractor from Emmerdale!" can I?
OK, just me, then! hahaha
She is so cuteeee!
It's almost like she is from cartoons
It's Melia 🥰
When will "The Serpent" premiere in the US? I waited a year to see Jenna in "The Cry." It's not fair, you Brits can't keep her all to yourselves!
The Serpent is on the BBC so you will only be able to get it on Brit Box.
The seprent is so good jemma amazing
want to see in Taiwan. love Jenna coleman very much.
I loved her in the serpent!
Love Jenna
literally the beauty who allowed
Cuuute
It's melia antiqua herself
Doctor who great show
I was obsessed with Dr who because of you

Fantastic interview, great questions and super relaxed natural answers - Jenna Coleman is my favorite Actress now and I've only ever seen her in The Serpent !!!! Catching up to do !? p.s I want a clockwork Squirrel :))))
p.p.s who are the 22 thumbs down? I can't imagine if you didn't enjoy this interview for any reason, you'd dislike it? What is wrong with people. Just askin' - #:(
Watch Seasons 7, 8 and 9 of Doctor Who.
I think people are wary of Jenna because she seems too perfect. I know I am and the Doctor himself thought Clara was "a trick, a trap" because there seemed to be nothing wrong with her. I'm crazy about Jenna but she's the living incarnation of too good to be true, so I'm constantly wondering "what's the catch?" I've seen people in comment sections who claim to know people who met her and they say she's a total bitch. It's possible that she could be but I've also seen people slander George Lucas because they're jealous of him and bitter that he made the Star Wars Prequels.
Literally all I can hear when she speaks is Melia.
Clara 🥰
My name is clara and whenever I hear her say it it makes my heart skip a beat lol ik that's stupid but still ahha
as a fellow clara i agree haha!! i think it’s because our name isn’t used in lots so it’s weird to hear it :)
Lol yeah, and even when I’m talking about Clara (the character) it feels really weird because my brain is not used to hearing me say my name and not be talking about me
She was amazing, great character and great writing, shame about what it’s like now
Hey look, the round things!
If by chance you read this beautiful lady, just wanted to say you are the prettiest 💗 thing to have ever be seen.
ILOVE THE SERPENT
I did not know she was in captain America!?
Wow
She’s brilliant in the serpent
I like this girl. I'm in love!
SHE HAVE A FUNKO POP!
The clockwork squirrel didn't actually appear in Doctor Who, did it? I'm surprised they actually made the prop.
If I remember correctly it wasn't in that episode, but in another episode it was on top of the guitar amp. I want to say it was the episode where he was explaining the bootstrap paradox referencing Beethoven.
What? But I am as Clara oswald in Clara who don't forget!
Will there be a 4th season of Victoria ?
they're in talks about it now apparently according to a recent interview with jenna :)

0:32 Is it just me or does young Jenna Coleman look like Wendy from the Wonder Years?
Did I see that Jenna had her own Funko pop on her bookcase?
Yes! Someone made it for her when she did the play All My Sons in 2019 :)
@@maisj26 nice. I was going to do that for someone who retired however the person who I know is really good at making them has a huge waiting list and only makes them certain times of the year.
Is it just me or is there a lot of resemblance between Jenna and the young Dawn Wells? First noticed w/ Dr.Who, and still saw it in Victoria...
I always thought she was a dead ringer for Christina Ricci, I can see the resemblance with Dawn though.
@@alanfriesen9837 Christina Ricci's still looking fine as fuck at the age of 41. Considering the resemblance, I think Jenna's going to age very well.
I need her and Sebastian Stan to work together again pls
