Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today for my weekly makes, I did have to buy a new sewing machine this week as I killed my other sewing machine, it was thirteen years old and had done a lot of work over those thirteen years, so please check out my new sewing machine.

Hi Deb, the denim from Weft and Warp is just devine. Oooh I just love your Easy Shirt, such beautiful fabric and it hangs beautifully. Your new machine is awesome, the hard cover is great too. I have a Juki overlocker which I have been very happy with so far. I'm sure you won't regret getting the Juki. Great video, happy sewing ❤

Thanks Deb, the Weft and Warp denim is great I just bought some more denim from the, very good quality. I usually use a shirting fabric for the All In Easy Fit, but it is great in the viscose. I’m so thrilled with my machine, I do love Juki but have mainly used full industrial but that is just too inconvenient at the moment, it’s so quiet. Have a great sewing week, Deb 🪡🧵💕

Moving to country Victoria will be a great change and as I’m a bit nomadic, l know it well. Just a pain to do the packing up! Fun when you get there. Life is but an adventure.

I don't need a new machine! My machine is lovely and does most of what I want! But I have massive machine envy for your new machine. Mine is a sweet domestic model that sews at an utter snail's pace compared to a juki industrial, but this looks like a nice balance between managing the huge oil pan of the juki industrial, and having a domestic that sews nice and speedily!

Hi Velvet, yes the full industrial machines do have the oil pan, not something you can move around, and they often only do a straight stitch, so can be quite restrictive. I love a domestic machine very versatile, so the new Juki is a great alternative, I’m really happy with it and it’s very quiet, so looking forward to years of sewing on this new one. Congratulations on your new juki.
I have a Singer industrial sewing machine 152 G that I purchased about two years ago. It is fantastic, quiet and fast. Comes with its own table and is extremely heavy. So yes, you will need a dedicated space for your industrial machine as they are difficult to move around. Once you get one, you will not regret it.

More beautiful makes. Congratulations on that lovely new machine. I learned on my mum’s industrial Juki back in the 70’s. She kept that machine for 50 years and never had it serviced. Just maintained it herself. Hope you get many wonderful years of service from your new Juki ❤

I would love an industrial sewing machine some day 🩷 but then having to have another machine for zig zag and buttonholes leaves me in alaysis paralysis and I'm left with what I've got!

Thanks Venora, I make a size 12 on the PE shirt with the FBA2 which is the smaller bust adjustment, which patterns did you by? House hunting is much more work than it seems, very time consuming, Deb 🪡🧵💕
