We better get started on that TKL version then.
HELL YEAH!
Oh shit finally 🎉
Function key needs to be to left of the space bar.
Just when I bought the 2he because I had no choice if I wanted arrows and F keys T_T
but please make it 4khz PLEASE BRO (its fine if yall dong yall are the best)
As an owner of an wooting everyone else is just simply behind, the level of control is insane.
It’s unlucky that I will smack you with any keyboard
Optimum tech shows that steel series apex pro mini rapid trigger is pretty much identical to 60he
@@Wyn3e yeah exactly, and the price difference is like +60€
steelseries rapid trigger is good too. thy copied wooting. pretty good
When I saw the giveaway on your story I was like ah I doubt it’s anything special. But this video helped me understand how crazy this new technology is for cs
Im so happy about this video. I ordered my own Wooting 2 weeks ago and it just arrived and feels really nice (loving the 60% so far). It’s nice to get the Feedback that it’s not just good marketing, but actually worth it.
I LOVED THIS VIDEO. Having a CS pro showing these opinions is such a big deal.
It would be really cool if you could try different mice as well. A lot of new tech like motion sync and 4k polling has come and we can't tell if it's worth it or not
Great content my brother. Keep 'em coming
nice video im definetly going for one of the two in the next time . im hyped
Mine is arriving in 2 days! So excited
Just found out my apex pro has this feature. I am kinda mindblown how much more responsive it feels when counter-strafing
i use all buttons on 0.1mm rapid trigger, took a few weeks to not accidentally jump when i press C to crouch (fight me) or V to talk. but now everything is great i also never had a missed defuse because of this so im happy with the purchase for sure
couldve just set only wsad to 0.1mm, this seems stupid to me😂 i bet you still jump more than before
@@shockat5070 havent had a accidental jump since i posted the comment, and when i lowered space to 0.5 i had more than a few No-jumps Lmao
interesting stuff!
hope they make silent switches for analogue keyboards soon
Drunkdeer have pretty much achieved parity with Wooting, so try that out if you want a cheaper option with more availability, with an option for a different form factor. The drivers are not quite as good as you have to choose between having finer control of rapid trigger and rebinding keys but this will change in the near future.
I have heard few things about Drunkdeer. Will take a look!
literally ordered 60he a week ago, can't wait already, the idea of waiting for it for a MONTH is killing me
are u pro player? no, will u have dreams to do it? no, you are just wasting money for barely difference. buy any steelseries with rapid trigger. it's very close. but no spend your time and your money for empty stuff lol. wasted sperm.......
Thanks for the video Styko!
im receiving my Wooting in a week. would love 'feel' review as well, with some thoughts regarding getting used to it after several years of regular keyboard switches. Did you feel your counter strafing got better because of the rapid trigger feature?
Well, the "feel" thing is hard for me to be objective about. I have been pro player in CSGO for 8 years. I have practiced counter-strafing for hundreds of hours. I don't really feel like this keyboard made it better or easier but that is because I already put a lot of effort to make it my habit whenever I play.
This will be more valuable to players who struggle with this mechanic or who are not familiar with it. It will also help players who are aware of counter-strafing but want to improve on it as it is their weakness.
I think it can help these players.
@@STYKO makes complete sense, tyty! loving your content lately, specially the demo reviews.
Ive been using the wooting for a couple months now and its absolutely fantastic, although it did take me some time to get used to the slightly heavier springs in the keyboard, making keypresses require slightly more preassure.
(Also, did you put your strap on the wrong way intentionally or no? xD)
Yeah, I figured about the strap 😅 woopsies.
@@STYKO hahaha its just a funny easter egg for the wooting owners lol (also its probably great to trick people into commenting about it to help the algorithm 😉)
Great video!
Wooting full size will probably be interesting as I agree that 60% is too small
It’s a great keyboard, had it since march no complaints. Much better software than steelseries but the keyboards essentially function the same
@@1bird_d So if you had to choose Apex Pro (full size) to Wooting 2HE (full size)... you would go with Wooting? I'm so close to buying an Apex pro (full size)
great perspective sir
you should look into "mod tap" in advanced keys. I have my ESC button do ½ for console on a longer press, and ESC on tap. could help you make more use of the wooting
Yeah, I have done couple of these things while using wooting as well as rebinding / remaping functions. I just couldn't get used to things even days after it. :(
@@STYKO same, It took almost a month of the doing binds and i can't go back to a normal keyboard now...but it was a rough start
That's awesome, I rebound the console key on my current 60% keyboard ad got used to it but when I move to wooting I'll definitely use this feature
I have a 60HE and i just bought the new logitech tkl keyboard (i like the brown tactile switches from logitech). In my opinion it is the best to play with the keyboard u are used to. I had some problems adjusting my movement with the 60HE. Even Zywoo switched back to an xtrfy because its all about how you feel and think. But if you start the game new and CS2 is kind of a new feeling even for old players, this feature will be great.
Zywoo switched back because he is sponsored by xtrfy, and yes the wooting has a learning curve but it took me and all my friends maybe 2-3 days to get used to. Might take a week of playing dm and whatnot and it becomes second nature
2-3 days to get used to Wooting is great. I couldn't, even after 2 weeks of using it everyday. maybe skill diff :(
@@1bird_d diddnt knew that ty. I ordered the new alumaze case because of the lower profile, maybe it fixes my "problems".
@@STYKO So you switched back to a no HE ?
9:15 I know I'm 2 months late to this video but there is a very simple solution to this problem, here's how to do it for your specific example:
Go to wootility -> go to whatever profile you use for CS -> advanced keys -> click on the ESC key in the visualisation of your keyboard -> Mod Tap -> bind hold to ~ and tap to ESC
This way whenever you hold down the button you'll get ~ as an output and if you just tap it, you'll get ESC as an output. You can also adjust how long you have to hold the key down by pressing on the little cog wheel in the menu where you chose the keys.
Theres no company coming close to wooting right now, my just came in and there has to be some serious innovation to even make me consider switching
i use the wooting, so good
I have a macbook. If i change this setting on my mac then plug the keyboard back into my console will the setting stay. Will i have rapid triger
Hey STYKO do you still use the lowest (0.1) actuation and rapid trigger? I've tried it but find it too sensitive; I often end up moving on accident while trying to stand still to spray. I've seen a lot of other CS players make videos about RT and adjustable actuation keyboards but it looks like majority of them have moved away from it and returned to a ~1.8mm actuation keyboard.
60HE is the best keyboard I think I've ever had
Would ve really nice to see this but with mouses, what mouse and what mouse mods you use plus tips and tricks
Boardzy makes good videos on this but the rule of thumb is always go wireless and over $90 for a quality mouse and it’s all personal feel based on hand comfort
I know Xtrfy K5 is not analog keyboard but what are your thoughts about that ? Thanks for the reviews !
From design POV it is even better than the ones I reviewed in the video. Cable is much better, it has height-adjustment feet and inscribed secondary functions of each key as I showed in video.
The main issue I had with it was spring stiffness and sensitive Actuation point. I was browsing internet while my hand is resting on the keyboard and suddenly I realized I was pressing a key without me knowing. It didn’t feel as nice as Analog, that’s for sure
Thank you for the honest opinion@@STYKO
The new firmware and GG software give Apex the ability to change rapid trigger sensitivity feature, even for my 3 years old Apex Pro original.
Really??? So its the same as wooting where you can set it to 0.1?
@@gluteusmaximus7608 Even better, you can set different RT value for individual keys.
I also bought a Apex Pro, should i turn on rapid trigger for all key or only for WASD?
only WASD is how I use my Wooting as it’s really best for movement and didn’t find any use as I mostly play tac shooters. I do know it is game specific as I have a friend who plays Fortnite pretty competitively and he has rapid trigger also enabled on his edit button.
I liked the video. Come on, guys, the apex pro doesn't replace the switches, and if it gets damaged, how do I fix it?
Sounds interesting for my next keyboard but i need a tkl.
Sounds like SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL will be the one for you then!
@@STYKO i got the g pro x keyboard and im very happy but when it breaks, i hope wooting has a tkl ready for me.
I suggest u do an intro on videos something like hello guys or something like that p.s great content
Have the Apex Pro TKL. If I change the actuation to lower than 1.6 mm i will accidently push down a key while playing causing me to stop at random points.
I have the apex pro mini and 0.5 actuation point is goated.
is this apex pro the 2023 version?
what is the best configuration ???????
Huntsman v3 pro will work Aswell with rapid trigger (also has tkl)
Yes! Cuurently I am using it but at the time of the release of this video it wasn’t out, yet 😁
@@STYKO ah Nice thanks
Next time smash Spirit pls .
Ill cheer for u !
I came from a full size to a 60he. Would usually play games which utilizes most of a full size keyboard.
Definitely some growing pains with the 60he, its just so tiny and compact. I love the extra des space for fps games, no more smashing my mouse against my keyboard. Wooting also have developed really good software, although im currently finding it buggy with having to unplug my keyboard after every reboot. Other than the bugs, the software is very intuitive and has a lot of work arounds for full keyboard users.
bruh 200€ for a keyboard is crazy.... are there any good recommendations 100+ euro?
Nice
Rapid Trigger
Thank you for this video, I bought a TKL myself today 😂
Maybe I mist it, but where can I find your tkl settings
I showed them in the video but basically Actuation Point on all keys should be 0.8mm (Rapid Trigger included). Only exception is W A S D which is 0.1mm actuation point
Glass pad review coming? 👀
👀
The full size wooting is the only keyboard i will use for the next 15 years, not sure why they dont make a 10 keyless version since 60% is a pretty weird gimmick layout in my opinion, not so sure why so many people use it. I guess people don’t actually use function keys but they are missing out on a lot of ease of access actions. (Home key island, arrow keys, fn keys)
Because we press FN1 and then we press 9 and we get F9, basically we have 2 different things on the same key, or i can press FN1 + W and i get up arrow, FN1 + S = down arrow, FN1 + A = left arrow etc, we're not really missing out on anything compared to a fullsize keyboard, maybe having to press 2 keys at once instead of just going for that uparrow key is a dealbreaker but if you use a 60% keyboard for at least half a year you get used to it
@@alexanderx78 i tried a 60% and it’s just so annoying to have to press the fn keys and remember where everything is if you did something past F12
you can just use modtap for arrow keys and the console key
this mufuka better be global elite
That little strap that Wooting puts on their keyboards is so goofy. Seems like they are trying to be different but its so pointless. Odd choice.
I don't mind it at all, I like it actually! But I agree that it doesn't really serve any higher purpose other then being their "signature gimmick"
If the Steelseries GG was good, then yes the SteelSeries would be the right choice, but as I already have the SteelSeries Nova Pro wireless, let me tell you it's no fun when you are in a 1vs1 situation and you lose all sound due to the SteelSeries GG crashing. This drives me to choose the wooting, but then the full size as the 60% is too small for me.
I got tilted just by reading your comment. Didn’t happen to me yet, and hopefully never will 🤞🏽😤
You can just delete the software after changing the settings since the keyboard has onboard memory.
@@Azrael32 Yes that would work, but if you read correctly I also use the SteelSeries Nova Pro wireless, the software needs to be enabled and working in the background(STEELSERIES GG) otherwise very shitty sound and probably very likely that the sound will stutter and cut out.
didn't you have a custom built by taeha types?
I did for couple of years. Long story short, it got electrocuted by accident when I wore winter shoes in our bootcamp offices (with carpet on the ground)… 😭
@@STYKO you can still get a premium experience by putting the wooting internals in a tofu 60% case. Basically the best of both worlds.
great vid, but u looked like u slept bad recently everything ok?
Gonna be honest, I was sick whole week and it was not easy to record this :D Had to take couple painkillers so it may have affected me :/ I am all good now, though!
got an apex pro to use til my 80he comes in
They need to make one with only 1u sized keys. Im tired of the waste of space that spacebar is on 99.9% of keyboards.
Invented is not the right wording for what wooting have done. they implemented hall effect into a product, everything else is just reaping the benefits of analog data. Rapid trigger has been done on DIY analog keyboards, just not implemented at scale
Sad that you try to buy the fastest keyboard with ~1ms respons time yet the game insists to update what you see on the screen each 16ms
what about razer huntsman v3 pro?
I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I should receive it soon so I will see how I feel about it :)
@@STYKO and how do you feel about it now compared to the Apex Pro? I'm looking at getting an Apex Pro (full size), or a Wooting 2HE (full size) but not sure which...
no ale ked mam pomalu myš tak mi to nepomôže 😂
Where to buy GYPSIE! shirt? :)
it's actually GODSENT merch, when I used to play for them few years ago :D
great video! too late to join giveaway?
Yes, the giveaway is over 🙁
❤
rapid trigger
Only because no one did it :)
why you even put the tkl apex pro in this video like you took the worst one of the apex pto mini series , its way worse than the mini whats the point of even considering it in 2023?
POLAND
the way you attached the strap on the wooting annoys me
oh, it might be other way around 😄 my bad
?
goofy ahh supreme skateboards 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Noti gang
If keyboard quality is such a big concern, maybe don't buy garbage gaming keyboards and just build a custom one. You surely have the money. That way you can decide completely how your keyboard is. And the related software will be barebones as you prefer.
Usually these "premium" keyboards really have bad quality plastic in their keycaps. The switches are usually not high quality either (e.g. Cherry MX switches are not high quality).
Only nerds build custom keyboards
@@lukasklupfel2927 If it makes you feel better about yourself
bro called wooting 60he garbage, lmao
