There are specific clamps that sit into the groove on the bottom of the rail to allow a free pass on the saw.
Awesome, I defo need some of them. Thank you Matt 👍🏼
This is #1 on my "want, but can't justify" list
100% worth it for sure though Joe. So easy and such a straight line 👌🏽
That applies to so much, so now in my 80's, if I fancy something, I just go for it.
@Michael Farmer I'll go for it when I finally have time to build the cabinets we've been wanting
Yep yep, those specific clamps for a tracksaw, are definitely going to make your time using the tool. A bit more simple, and honestly a bit more enjoyable in my opinion! Thanks for another cool video! Keep it cool, and until next time!
Really nice kit, was all that cutting done with one battery James because it did well with cutting through the apple the apple wood 👍👍
Excel clamps work with it 👌
That makes cutting straight edges easy. Looks to have a very efficient dust extraction system, I’d have to have it hooked up to a vacuum or I’d be sneezing constantly
Hi James track saw an other tool on the list 😀😀 Thanks again
That looks like a new style packout it comes in, few upgrades from the original XL box.
Great video James! Wish we could get the red track(s) in the USA...
Nice movie and good equipment
I definitely need one of these, even for small diy projects... I can never cut straight with a circular saw 😭
Most of the time, track saws are designed where you don't need to use clamps. Depending on the situation, sometimes clamps are desired. In this situation, there are specific clamps that insert in the track from each end that allow you to clamp the guide rail to the work evenly so the clamping pressure is more evenly distributed than what you were doing. Also, if you don't have a dust extractor, using the dust bag that comes with the saw keeps the area clean so that the track can sit more securely on your work.
The are specific clamps that come with the Festool that locate in the bottom of the rail and clamp to the timber. I’m sure Milwaukee must do similar, would have expected them to be in the rail bag?
Beast of a saw. Did it come with a dust bag?
Yeah, I should of used it! 😂🤦🏻♂️
Would help if your table was flat James. Nice saw though!
As good as it is, festool, mafell and Makita are miles ahead.
Did a lot wrong, but quite funny. Sub
