Thats a handsome piece man, nicely done! The tip about the weights near the end was golden. Can't tell you how many times I've fought the even spaces battle on drawer faces for that exact issue lol
Thanks man! It’s crazy how tough it can be to get the spacing just right 😆
Beautiful build man. Love the natural Rubio on the white oak.
Quick question, couldn’t u just leave the double sided tape behind the drawer fronts? Or does it leave a gap?
Thanks! It’s a great color combo 👍🏻
It left a tiny gap, otherwise it wouldn’t hurt anything
The process would not be workable without a well organized mind of a creative master of the craft, very nice peace, thanks for sharing
Perfectly said, thanks for watching!
Very nice. Well done!!! Enjoyed your video very much. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
That’s so freakin sick
Thanks Kevin!
Outstanding design and execution. Well done - just subscribed.
Thanks Randal!
Beautiful!
Thanks Dan!
Great build vid 🤘
It's awesome to see your skill set grow over the years. Keep up the great work
Thanks Rab!! 🙏 Trying to improve a little each time!
I'm buying Festool shit right now so I'm busy , seriously bought a domoino 500 and just bought a Festool dust extractor even though I have a Harvey G-700!
Nice, their dust extractors are fantastic. While you’ll still need your G700 for the big tools, the domino is almost completely dust free with the use of one of the extractors 👍🏻
Nailed it my friend!
Thanks man! 💪👊
I believe that this project is going to be very inspiring in whatever room it goes. I hope you have more of that beautiful material to build additional pieces to go along with it. White Oak is very expensive near me. I would have a very difficult time in justification of using it on drawer box construction where its beauty is hidden. Great job on the build and the making of this video.
Thanks! I still have quite a bit left, planning on doing some matching pieces, hopefully that'll make the channel. I'll be keeping this piece, so the solid drawers were a little easier to justify 😅
gorgeous piece! Glad you found a great project for this beautiful piece of wood. Very Stylish
Thanks! 🙏🏻
this is awesome!
Thanks Yegor! 👍🏻
Nice very good
Thanks you!
Man this guy isnt joking. Thats alot of dovetails
Only 32 dovetail joints! 😅
@mmcc_woodshop6288 seriously phentermine work.
Wow!
🙏👍
I built a vanity carcass then it sat there without drawers for 6 months. I finally completed it last weekend so I’m right there with you. 😂
Edit: how do you like that porter cable dove tail jig?
Glad to hear I' not the only one then 😂
I like it so far, while the joints aren't 100% perfect (they're close but nothing is perfect), you can batch/replicate the joints incredibly fast once you have it dialed in. I think it's worth the investment 👍
If all dimensions are same you can insert any drawer at any place, can you?
Yes, you could. There might be a slight offset in the gap/spacing between drawers if they’re put in different spots, since I attached the faces after the drawers were already installed.
@@mmcc_woodshop6288 hmm
Is your shop heated?
Nope! It’s really enjoyable from November through February 😅
Your good but you ain't no four eyes!
Okay Im a dumb ass , you got me
😂 I know I’m not as good looking as Chris but I’m trying my hardest to look at least presentable
