Loved the trick for putting the hangar bolts in! I had a "duhhh" moment when you mentioned using a doweling jig! Thanks for sharing the idea! Always enjoy your videos and how real you are in them.
Thanks for watching! I forgot the most obvious way to do something and end up taking a more complicated route all the time! 😆
First time viewer here. I’ve been woodworking for over 45 years and still learning. I love to see good craftsmen working and explaining what and why they are doing it. This was a very well produced, insightful video. I want to see more and so, I’ve hit that subscribed button.
The customer is not always right - but they are all always the customer
So, I don’t like the grey. But I’m not the customer.
Thanks! Thats a great way to put it with the customer perspective.. there’s a different preference out there among people for everything!
circle on the bottom of the circle was clever. nice video
Thanks Jon! 🤜🏻
Yeah, those old project pieces add up quick off to the side 😂. Excellent work and finish!
I have so many projects hanging out in the corner 😆
Good save, and yes.....Sometimes simplicity in design is a better option. BTW $270 for that slab is steal. I'd love having access to something like that at that price point. Slab lumber here in the INW is like trying to buy gold bricks
Thanks buddy! I agree that it was a good deal. Still struggling to find the best use for the live edge slabs overall 👍🏻
Great video my friend! And a good story. Salvaging both slabs and video :)
Thanks Geoff! Glad to have this one out of the way!
Love the I’ll get back to you at some point pile 🤣
That’s the theme of many of my projects lately 😆
@@mmcc_woodshop6288 great side tables tho 👌🏽
Wonderful video!
Thanks! 👍🏻
Great job the tables look great
Thanks Jim!
Good job my friend
Thanks man! 👍🏻🤜🏻
Nice tables. Just curious, what did you do with the epoxy piece left over? lol
Thanks Steve, I just got that piece off, just laying in my scrap pile currently
Nice tables! I recently made some river end tables. It was my first time building end tables and river tables. Had a leak problem with my pour too, even though I have been working with epoxy for years! I was able to stop the leak with caulk, but I was kicking myself for not getting flex paste before the pour, as that stuff works great at stopping epoxy leaks. Great job with the pivot to use that wood for this end table build. You can see my video here if you are interested in how my end tables turned out. czcams.com/video/ScBRq6DDBMo/video.html
Thanks for feedback! I’ll check that video out for sure, from what I’ve experienced epoxy is tough to work with and it almost never goes smoothly 😂
