Lyrics:
My dad taught me from a very early age
Be at one with the snake
Feel it son! And I am.
I've gotta get the camera
I've gotta get right in there
I have to get right fair smack into the action
Here we go, look at this!
I gotta push it
I gotta push it to the limit
Danger, Danger, Danger
I jumped on a croc
Under the water - WHACK
Hit me in the head, scarred me here
Woooo! I'm on top of the world!
I gotta push it - push it to the limit
Woooo! I get to do the wildest things in the world
You need to come with me
I wanna share it with you
Come with me - share my wildlife with me
This is just such a special moment
This is what I want to share with you
All I want to do is show you the beauty of this animal
I'm gonna have to be so careful here
See the way they jump! Did you see that!
Holy smokes!
I've been bitten, peed on, jumped on, whacked
See the way they jump! Did you see that!
Holy smokes!
No two fingers are the same
They've been snapped, split, chomped
I'll stay on that river - I just won't stop
Because I feel so passionate
Passionate about all of our wildlife
(refrain)
Look at the information I can gather from this one poo
This is his territory - this is his terrain
He's the biggest predator out here
Oh you're gonna bite me - Ohyou'regonnabitemeonthe
Ack!
Conservation is my job, my life, my whole persona
And it's my job, it's my ambition
(refrain)
This is like a dream come true

This is actually played at Australia Zoo after the croc show!!
Ye I always wait for it even if it takes a while and my dads like I’m going to get something to eat
It is wow
i know!!!
America rules He was a conservationist fascinated by them. He cared for animals at his zoo. And who wouldn't love to explore, see animals up close in the wild. Discover so many things about them. He was a great man, who loved and respected all animals large and small. To say he "exploited" then is an insult.
America rules begone heathen!!
"Please don't grieve for Steve, grieve for the animals, as they have lost their best friend they ever had" Bob Irwin, Steve's father
Croc "Im gonna eat that fucking stingray"
other croc" But Steve would never want us to kill an animal to avenge him!"
Croc "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK! I'm a crocodile!"
@yatalachops You realize how many lifes he saved? "Pestering the animals" it's funny how y'all okay with hunting animals for sport and fashion but helping and saving species is when you cross the line lmao.
@yatalachops He didn't know about it? Have you never heard of the word accident? He went swimming there like hundreds of other people. You think he, a man that has been interested in animals his whole life wouldn't know about it? You think he was suicidal or something?
And if you don't agree with hunting then maybe do some good and go pester them, because they actually hurt animals for fun, not a dead man that helped so many animals and loved them dearly. You're pathetic.
The most true and saddest statement I've ever heard. I truly do feel bad, there's nobody that loves all animals as much as Steve. Everybody has an animal that there afraid of or can't stand. Mine is cats. Steve Irwin was afraid of parrots the most alongside hippos. The hippos are obvious why. He said that parrots had to bite him it was their job. LOL
@@JustAChinesePleb what did the yatlachop guy said about steve?I can’t see his comment
Someone listening 2024? Honestly this is not the best Melodysheep song, but Steve makes it the best .. R.I.P Steve, your legaci will be with us forever.
I can't believe I just found this. I used to live for Steve Irwin/ melody sheep videos like 14 years ago wow time flys.
always.
It's 2024 and even though this song is 10 years old I still come back to it because Steve was the most genuine human being to ever walk the Earth in my lifetime. This is my "warm hug". I know it sounds weird but this song makes me feel good after a bad day.
No one will ever come close to Steve he could make a wall intresting just by describing it
This is a great tribute to him rip mr Irwin🙏❤️
I can't believe it's been 12 years without this legend
I can't believe that too..he was one of the biggest parts in my childhood...I cried so much as he died...rest in peace Steve...we Germans loved you too...
Allegra Interstellar I’m Aussie but it was the same for me... most deaths of people you know or see on television etc. are extremely sad, but his was just so much worse... this was so good... also, love to Germany from Australia
Wildcard at the very least, he died doing what he loved. That’s a lot more than most people get.
Be N S O N Indeed.
almost 13
I was 16 when Steve passed away. I'd spent that whole summer reading his book and watching croc files. I cried that entire day and for a couple of weeks afterwards. It was hard. I'd always thought I'd get to meet him. Only a few months ago I fulfilled my dream of visiting his zoo. I hold two degrees in conservation and biology because of him.

Amazing
He touched us all in many ways and even though he's passed my kids wont miss out on the things he showed us thanks to the show he made
Any Aussie kid who grew up hoping to see him never quite got over that 😔
Stranger to stranger I’m proud of you and I know he would be too. :)
"You can judge a man's heart by his treatment of animals" - Immanuel Kant.
And he still couldn't produce a useful theory of ethics. lol
@@FriendOfN0ne Like he ever needed to. 🙄 If watching him wasn't enough to show you how you should treat other animals and feel about them, then there's no hope for you.
@@KyrstOak I think he was talking about kant
@@twitch.tvthejhandi5257 Oooooh, ok. Now I understand.
@@KyrstOak Plus his main work was his proposal of metaphysical idealism. So id give him a pass on the fact he did not have a useful theory of ethics.
Whenever I see Steve , I get a kind of positive energy can't explain completely .This guy was so passionate and so positive . I am feeling sad that he went away.
same😸
It was SO genuine… sometimes you watch show hosts trying to emulate that energy but you can always tell when it’s not real. He was so incredibly passionate, it was contagious. RIP beautiful soul ✨💛✨

One of the few people in this world who didn't simply exist, but truly lived.
Thank you for capturing that.
It's sad to know that my nephew, now 7 and people of his age, will most likely never know this guy. I used to love this guys stuff when I was a kid.
Sam Cooper Do kids even have someone like this to look up to? I don't think so. It worries me because a lot of kids don't care for wildlife.
Sam Cooper yea and he loved us too
Hate to sound all "my generation was better!!" But im making my kids watch this and other shows like this that I watched.
Sam Cooper I've actually seen this show on animal planet in recently.... In around 12:00am-5:00am, unfortuantly...
Sam Cooper My nephew is 8 and while watching this video i was thinking the exact same thing. Then I scroll down and read this lol
Very sad indeed
Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, or bargained with.
Some men just want to watch the world learn.

Saw this at Australia Zoo this week while Robert Irwin was luring the big croc back into its home. It made me cry. Seeing his son following in his footsteps and hearing Steve’s voice in the background. Absolutely loved it 💙
Can you imagine if he had grown up with his father, and he was alive today. They would team up to catch crocs. Two cute men, working together to save the planet. Crocs rule.
Steve's love of wildlife and conservation came from a place of purity in his heart and soul. We'll never see anyone like him again. Such a shame.😥
Irish Emo Girl Steve influenced me to love and respect wildlife. When I found out the day on the news I found out he died I cried my eyes out 🥺. Steve I miss u and u changed my life
Robert and Bindi are the next best people for his job
Sure we can. It's pessimistic to say otherwise. In fact, I'm sure there were several men with the same passion for wildlife and animals just as Steve had. There will be more still. Passion is shared across the human race.
While I watched him on Animal Planet, I felt it just as he did. I used to devour animal facts like nobody's business. My childhood was filled with a love for the natural world.
Well, there are a couple of people on CZcams who have been inspired by him and are following in his footsteps: Dingo Dinkelman in South Africa, and Chandler K of Chandler's Wildlife in Florida.
Sure we will! His son is just like him in every way! He will definitely continue what his father started
It's viciously upsetting that Stevie is gone. But he would be elated to know that he inspired an entire generation to become environmentally-conscious and to appreciate as well as respect all life.
He's left his mark on the world and we will always cherish his memory, energy, and message.
we need him back :(
Isiskos. He inspired the whole world, all generations bro
Milky Wayan Ikr I want him back
My childhood memories all until he died, were watching his show and thinking about the wonderful world around us. We don't need him back, we need more people like him

melodysheep you’re a very lucky person. This was played at the Australian zoo. Must be pretty cool to know that your song was played at a zoo during crocodile and wildlife show
Erin Georgia yeah that’s how I know this song
No luck here - this is work he put in
@Erin Georgia, yeah I have been to Australia zoo and when they played that song it was the first time I ever heard that and I got a little bit emotional
it is the other way around maam
How he is lucky? I think he is one of the unluckiest person in the world. The efforts he puts in his video is unimaginable. Even many Hollywood movies worse than his works with much much bigger budget spending get way lot views than the total views he got till this day. Even Fox news has 4 times more subscriber than him. At least he deserves 10 million subscribers. It's injustice.
“I get to do the wildest things in the world” - yes you did Steve, and I hope you enjoyed every moment of it ❤️
This world misses you Steve.
facts
That's an understatement.
So Much man
You can tell. He looked so happy and excited messing with dangerous animals. You can tell he wanted other people to know that he loved it and why it was so amazingly beautiful. Truly a wonderful video. Thank you so much melodysheep for putting this together.
he saw the beauty in the most dangerous things
he would say that the ray was only doing what a ray fits and he has no bad feelings
he made the world a better place thats for sure.. and when he died... look at the world now.... HMMM
thats bc the most dangerous things are beautiful
totally. he was like NOW thats how they sting!!! ... gurgle gurgle....
10 years it's been. 10 years without this legend, rest in piece!

He sure is.
This is a great tribute but it always makes me sad. What a great man Steve Irwin was, so genuine in his passion that you could literally see it in his eyes when he spoke. Man the kids of this generation don't know what they're missing without him.
The crocodile hunter
They will be able to watch his son/daughter. :)
And its our job to speak about animals with that same passion.
100% agree.. this is 1 of a few people that made me see the good
I am of this generation, and i know what i'm missing out on, makes me so sad to think that such an amazing person died that young, even though i barely lived while he did.
He was a huge part of my childhood I miss him a lot :(
same watched him all the time, There was a stage where every book i would read where about animals becasue of steve. RIP
Going to the Australia Zoo really helps if you miss him.
Me too
Missing him won’t bring him back the most we can do is follow in his footsteps even if you can’t afford to go down under you can still help the world
"Conservation..is my job, my life, my whole persona " what a man.
Happy Birthday Steve, in whatever wild place you are.
"Come with me - share my wildlife with me..." Love ya Steve.
I hate to admit it but this got me a little emotional
Yeah, me too. :/
And me :( miss him, brought a tear to the cheek
i forth that….
I think the fact that it DOES make so many people emotional is a testament to who Steve was.
No need to hate admitting it... I think Steve's loss was the most tragic loss in the world of conservation in the last 20 years. He did so much for the animals and the world around him. Such a tragedy.
Why hate to admit it? Be proud of it. He did amazing things and he was an amazing bloke. I remember meeting him when I was 5, he was inspiring even at that age.
I can't watch this without crying like a child. I loved this man and his message.
I know, whenever I think about him being dead, I cry my eyes out.
Steve Irwin was a genuine ray of positivity and love..
We need more people like Steve.
We need to try and be like Steve.

Was at the Australia Zoo not so long ago
and they played this Masterpiece at the end
of the Croc Show. Legendary!
I was there that day
It was on my little brothers year 6 camp
They play it everyday after the croc show :0 :D
Man... I still remember the day he died... I was around only 7-8 years old at the time. it was time for dismissal and I was watching television in my classroom while my teacher was busy with dismissal since I usually stayed in after school care, when a sudden news report interrupted what I was watching. At first I didn't realize who it was until they started showing clips from his show.... I still remember my teacher having to comfort me while my parents came to get me. Such a perfect tribute to a legendary man... Thank you, melodysheep for taking the time to make this. R.I.P Steve Irwin

This is my literal favourite song but it makes me so emotional though. We need another person who is so willing and passionate to conserve wildlife. WE MISS YOU STEVE. You were Australia and the world's wildlife warrior!
There are. There will be. There always will. This is how human passion is. You can never completely kill it.
Hope Robert Irwin becomes a legend like him
Happy Birthday Steve, you were the reason I am so passionate about animals and the wildlife since I was a little boy. You were a true legend and you will be remembered by me and many others, god bless you Steve Irwin and thank you for the wonderful life you got to share with me.♥️
He's my role model too. I've loved animals since I was a little girl.

Talkgeekytome Yeah same like a week ago! At the end of the show it had this!
When i saw it at Australia Zoo, i thought it was made by Australia Zoo themselves...Till i saw this. Masterpiece! I got teary-eyed when i saw it and i still do. Steve Irwin wasn't a man; he was a hero, legend, Australian Icon and a big influencer of a now 15 yr old boy (me) that i will never forget. I wish i could revive him and all other saddened icons, such as Daniel Morcombe. I'm not doing this out of greed or spite; but please...Like this comment if you 100% agree with me... The legend, The Steve Irwin! MY HERO....
His death was the hardest of any celebrity death for me in my lifetime. I remember spending a long time just telling myself folks were lying. I knew they weren't but I wanted them to be lying.
As did I. He was the only real childhood hero I had. He gave me the love I have of the natural world now.
I feel exactly as you do. I did not believe it at all. I still have trouble with the truth of it.
I was young when he passed and i cryed every night for a long time. This video just makes me cry again.
Robin Williams was harder for me😭
His death was a shock and the hardest death of all for everyone one the planet at the time. 😖
This is the best song I’ve ever heard
R.I.P Steve Irwin.
This made me cry. You know my school went on a field trip to Australia Zoo. And this video was played and I had to hold my flood of tears back into my head. Damn. Steve Irwin. Australia misses you. You were that one person who taught us to save this planet and we are starting to care. This planet had a blessing. We need someone like him. I miss him. God bless Steve Irwin.

He and David Attenborough have done more to make me want to save the environment than any environmentalist shoving a bar graph or pie chart in my face.
He died as he lived; loving wildlife, risking his neck and truly living life.
This song is amazing, the spirit of Steve lives on.
"It is my job! It's my ambition..." Great respect for you, Steve, you've died for your job! Rest in peace, man!
this man lived his life doing what he loved the most and died doing it. that's the coolest thing in the world may you rest in peace Steve Irwin.
Can’t believe I’ve never seen this BEAUTIFUL tribute to Steve, before!
We will ALWAYS love and miss you, Steve!
I come back to what this at least once a year to celebrate him & his legacy. Thank you so much for putting this together all those years ago. Cheers to you Steve!
At the earliest age that I can remember, I always remembered getting on Animal Planet at my grandparent's house and watching Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter. For a very long period of time, I had followed him as I grew, loving all animals from stink bugs to worms, fish and frogs, to lizards and dogs. When he died I was in eighth grade and it struck me hard.
Steve was the inspiration for me even today to love all animals- which is why I am working to become a zoologist and a conservationist just like him!!
Thanks for inspiration Steve!!
Why am I watching this again? I already know what this does to me and my emotions
Same here man
+themaster408 i hear ya. but i find myself here atleast once a week listening to this. i had the pleasure of seeing him at his zoo. omg what an experience
+LucanDF Same, for the Robin Williams one too.
Because it’s a great song lol
Because it's wonderful.
What an amazing tribute. You brought the man back to life. ❤️
I watch this all the time.
This guy was my entire childhood. My respect for animals came from his love for them. He will forever be missed
I'm just like you.
That's a heck of an honor you've given him. Well done.
So true !! i agree
Steve irwin was a dipshit who exploited animals
@@veganismisamentalillness7909 No, he was the kindest man in the world who taught an entire generation about wildlife. Steve was working with animals long before he was ever on TV or even had a Zoo. The Irwins have a 330,000 acre wildlife reserve where mining, fishing, hunting, is all illegal. If the don't care about animals, why tf do they have a reserve?
Hell yeah
Steve Irwin wasn't just larger than life. He was life. He embodied what we all aspire to be. He followed his passions and lived life to the extreme because he knew that we don't live forever. He just went for it everyday. He has left such an indelible impression on my life that I barely have the words to describe how much I miss this incredible human being after so many years. It doesn't matter what your faith is or lack thereof, but may he forever rest in peace and hope that his legacy will forever remain intact so long as we fight so hard to perserve the wildlife that we encroached upon. We are not here to consume and dominate this world. We are here to co-exist with the multitude of species that we are blessed to have evolved with.
I know for a fact that if Steve was still alive, he’d love this. I watched this with a huge smile on my face while wiping away a few tears.

I was in tears the day in school when I found out he died. My teacher had to give me a hug. Steve Irwin was legendary for me during my childhood. It still hurts that you're gone. Love and miss you, Steve.
We're lucky to have so much media recorded by Steve to share his passion for nature, and bereft that he couldn't give us even more. Good on ya, Steve, and rest easy. Your legacy will always be with us.
Steve Irwin, Fred Rogers, and Bob Ross are all sharing their stories together. All three were such wonderful, charismatic people that put smiles on millions of faces.

The enthusiasm he had makes me happy.
I was very young when Steve Irwin passed away, so l wasn’t able to see him in action. But l watched so many of his documentaries and Bindi’s shows. He was still a big part of my childhood.
He inspired me to do a program at the Australia Zoo called the Joey Ambassadors, when we raised money for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. Steve sparked my love for animals, he will be missed dearly

@Ian Duke Please tell me you aren't serious
@Ian Duke And let me guess, PETA is actually good at animal conservation?
@Ian Duke While I don't entirely disagree with you (especially on the "dragging animals out of their home" bit), Attacking a dead guy? Really? Just let the man rest.
Ian Duke Yes he’s dead because that stingray defended itself and if Steve was still here he would have forgiven the stingray and understood that it was his fault. How about you appreciate what Steve did and fuck off.
@Ian Duke yet you came to a video about him lol....stfu you pos💩
it is good his passion never died with him now his kids share the passion
ok
This man did more for nature conservation then anyone. He was fun to watch and had true love for the world around him. He's missed.
I think this video changed me, I realised it when i started to cry :'). This guy was a hero, I hope to die while doing and for what I love.
I'm gonna push it to the limit.
how's it working out now that five days have passed?
It is strange. I never realized he was that passionate about conservation. So I feel sorry for him now in a way I didn't before. I still don't understand the people who were shocked that he died the way he did though. It always felt like someone being shocked that a race car driver died in a car crash.
Now you made me cry :,)
cammameil I think i was more how he died that supprised everyone. Most people ive talked with and myself included figured he would 1. Be torn apart by a croc 2. Poisonus snake 3. some weird ass illness No one in the world saw him being killed by a stingray. Even when i first herd about it the first thought that went that through my head was dam a croc must of finally got him. When they said it was a sting ray all i could think was WTF how?

This guy was so passionate. It's amazing!
The great thing about steve was that he probably did more for conservation of wild animals than peta and greenpeace combined, he wanted people to love animals like he did rather than trying to guilt people into saving them. He was engaging and lovable and got his message out in a way that made you want to follow instead of telling people that their evil for not doing more.
