If you could visit anywhere in the galaxy, where would you go?
Meet the Navis III: An imaginary ship that will take you anywhere in the Milky Way. Its maiden voyage will send you on a tour of the wildest planets humanity has yet discovered: worlds that defy belief, from planetary oases to scorching hot gas giants with clouds made of metal.
This interstellar journey will give us a glimpse into how deep nature’s imagination goes…. and blaze a path for future pioneers, who might one day plant their flags on landscapes we can hardly imagine.

Amazing work you've done there, thank you so much
Insane work again, good job
This channel might be one of the best things that has ever happened on the internet. The quality of animation, narration, writing, music... It's far beyond what any other educational channel has ever achieved, and it somehow keeps getting better with time. I have nothing but massive respect for whoever is running this spectacle.

Yes, just marvelous!
If some scenes were shown to scale then it would have been perfect for those who know universe stuff. Planets are just way too small in front of stars.
In all my years of walking on this Earth, I have never seen a video compel such beauty, marvel, & wonder. The amount of goosebumps I got watching this is impossible to describe.
As an archeologist, I find the design of the flag to be incredibly beautiful and fitting. Throughout history, cave paintings often feature handprints that serve as a testament to our ancestors' existence. In a similar vein, the placement of the flag on distant planets or moons can be seen as a message to the universe, a declaration that we were here and left our mark on the cosmos.
I like your interpretation better. I just saw it as the White Hand of Saruman and had to laugh.
I loved the way you put it. We have been exploring our surroundings since our existence, and we still are today. The flag functions as a reminder OF a reminder of our ancestors' existence. A tribute of what they have done. Absolutely beautiful flag.
you're not an archeologist but I'm sure you want to be!
@@jaredmehl1686 huh
I am also an archaeologist and classical historian and upcoming palaeontologist too, while space exploration is not that important, rather the study of the past is. We both likely understand that progress is just one step at a time along the road so to speak. like me most scientists and archaeologists are deeply faith based. to me the universe and evolution are the manifestations of God's imagination
Very, very nice video! I’m an astronomer at the observatory of Geneva and it is awesome to see that you included a lot of research from some of my direct colleagues. As always, amazing!
That’s so cool!
Thank you for your work, in the name of our children's children.
You may or may not be military, but I will tell you one thing, and that is thank you for your service, whether you're directly involved in the processes or just mopping the place, thanks for furthering humanity as a species.
How to become one? Just phd in something?
Yeah how to become one?
Nothing is more versatile than a creative mind and a multi digit hand.
There's something about the handprint human flag that is profound. It goes back to childhood, and our first art projects, but on a deeper level truly represents the hands that will shape human history in our galaxy and our exploration of it. Kudos for all of this, my friend.
Man, this video ended too soon. I could have easily kept watching this for hours. Space is fascinating to me. Just, in general. The idea that there's so many planets and suns, the fact that each planet is different. And there's no doubt in my mind that there's TONS of other planets out there with intelligent life on them. But, as fascinated as I am, it makes me sad that I'll never actually go to space. Never get to see any of these planets for myself. Never walk on anything other than Earth. I'd give literally anything to just stand on another planet for a few minutes.
Everything on my mind is right here! 🥲

Bruh HD 189733 B is literally a nightmare. The way melodysheep made it makes it look like a lightning quick tornado planet, and I love it. That's EXACTLY what it is, and I'm obsessed with this planet, guys. The concept of a boiling, sharp, and windiest planet is too metal for my brain to pass up on.

I don't think I've ever said thanks. Your videos uplift our thinking, inform us, dazzle us, goad us. I have never doubted that every corner of our universe is crammed with life. I remember when I knew... I was five and I turned over a cinder block in the yard... There was a very healthy biome of arthropods, ghostly plants, and fungus in perfusion. I knew then that everyone who said we were alone was afraid. What you have done is allow us to dream. Again, thank you. My favorite and my first of your videos was, 'The Museum of Alien Life'. How wonderful your art and teachings.

The flag with the hand mark is perfect. It symbolizes mankind as a species in its most humble and purest form.
Cameraman never dies. Hence proved.
Whenever I suffer from existential crisis I would start binge watching space-related videos/documentaries. I feel relieved to realize that my problem is just a speck of dust to the universe but also feel worse knowing that a speck of dust is the size of my existence and since I feel negative and positive at the same time, somehow they cancel each other out and I find the balance and calmness once again.
I feel you
You are not alone keep on searching and wonder through out the universe
For me, it's a wierd way you put up.
But if it works for you, who is there to stop you.
I think of it more as the universe is it's own giant scale. But just because we don't matter to it, doesn't mean our local problems matter at all, far from.
The friends and family you love and care about are just as important as always. The co-worker you may dislike, the enemies you make can still hurt you. Everything still has consequenses, both good and bad ones. Even if everything that happenes, all happened on a blue speck of dust hurtling trough space.
Ob Netflix are also some fascinating Documentaries like that, check out "Alien Worlds" and "Interstellar"
@@mr.boomguy Take "everything has consequences" to the level, where every single act is observed by the Cosmos and recorded, even a speck of dust matters to the whole. We matter to the Universe.
God didn't create a wound-up machine called Universe and let it run, it's not a toy... He's with us every step of the way. If only we start interpreting our self-created "love and hate" games differently, through the lens of sacred boundaries, perhaps we might be able to actually see what's going on outside the haze of our minds.

"On this world from hell, even the sky wants to escape" is such a powerful line

And also beautiful
I read this at the same time I was hearing it lol what a coincidence
Except that it's an extremely poetic and anthropomorphised, non factual description of what's actually happening, which is probably also why it appeals to you.
@@Humanaut. I would argue that the entire film, if we want to be accurate, is entirely overcinematic if one is looking at it from the perspective of realism, and yet it's still extraordinary. Factual information is very extraordinary, especially when discovering something interesting, but sometimes the factual information doesn't appeal to the average viewer and they don't appreciate the realism or the data as much as a scientist would. We're talking about entertainment, not factual information that never deviates from realism. It's literally making the sky a personal entity with wants. Of course it wouldn't be factual.

Even if I could live forever, there is not enough lifetime in the universe to see everything that I would wish to see.
I think of all of it as boring. It’s made of the same metals and elements that we have on Earth. If we discover new ones that are crazier and more exotic, then I’ll be happy about space

What a time to be alive, that one person's vision of the universe can be animated so realistically. In humankind's hundred-thousand years, it's only in the last few that we've been able to communicate with this sort of animation, and share it with the world.
I agree.. This channel is super amazing, which showcases that even more. So impressive to see what can be done already.
Imagine this being done by ONLY "thought".. We wouldn't comprehend how creative some humans are compared to others, if we could create content just by imagining it.
:o
Imagine not just movies/documentaries but also GAMES being coded like that, by thought. Yeah, will take a lot of time to get there, but I don't think it's impossible, just takes time. A lot of it probably. I mean, humans in the medieval times couldn't even begin to imagine an "Iphone 4". ... Which is not even impressive nowadays. We are growing so fast when looking at the timeline from a wider distance.. Evolving faster and faster in technology. I hope our brains catch up though.
I’ll take it a step further, everything around us was mined out of the ground and manufactured, incredible to know how far humanity has come, to turn minerals into a smartphone that is basically a hand held computer/communication center, it’s really mind blowing.

I just can't believe the impressive quality of these videos. They are incredible and spectacular.
This is one of those channels where you sort of forget about it for a while but as soon as you see that video drop you stop what you're doing and watch it. Always worth the wait!
I must have rewatched this and all of MelodySheep's other videos dozens or more times, it is jaw droppingly inspiring.
I’ve always dreamed of going to every planet in the universe to just explore them enough to know about them in complete detail.
You will visit them, I promise. Not in this life but in another conscious experience.
You can still play No man's sky.
If you start now, you'll be 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% done by the time the universe dies its final heat death. 😊
@@thomasschied7553 I play that every day XD
@@SpaceMonke1 im curious as to what you mean
i barely moved my eyes for even a second.
This is what we call a real high standing documentary
It's a piece of history to the coming generations
Stuff like this is a dime a dozen lol
Incredible content! I can only imagine what MelodySheep could create with additional resources and capital. Please don't stop. Every video is an amazing and inspiring dream experience.
Indeed
This is better than Discovery Channel 👍
Speechless..... Being a physicist this video inspires me .. goodjob
This is, without a doubt, the most sublime video I've ever seen. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried thinking about the countless people that will come after and who will get to experience these strange worlds. Completely awe inspiring and beautiful. Thank you.
Unfortunately nobody will visit these worlds. It’s not possible. Closest star system is 4.3 light years away, it would take 70,000 years to reach with conventional space travel. Humans cannot handle light speed travel, nor is it possible.
@@GlizzyGlobbler how shortsighted.
@@anthonyl1717 Lightspeed travel isn’t possible. You’d need 0 mass and the means to reach that speed. Humans can’t be transported at that speed. On top of that, if conventional travel were to be used (50,000-70,000 years) (nearly as long as homo-sapians have been in their prime), you’d need a colony ship, and people would very likely not survive the trip. Too many things can go wrong to make it near impossible.
@@GlizzyGlobbler I have a good idea, make the earth leave its orbit and it can carry us to the planets we want to go to.. but the problem is who would drive it
@@GlizzyGlobbler that's why, we need to launch ENDLESS of them. And keep trying to find new ways. RE-define physics. Find new loopholes. Find new ways. 1000 years ago, you would've told us, how it's not possible to send a letter to the moon.
You are correct I guess.. But shouldn't we TRY to go beyond all those numbers and seemingly impossible goals?
I'm not sure why this channel doesn't have at least 10 million subscribers. The stuff they create is unreal and it is by far the best on CZcams.
Because of lack of interest. It's frustrating for me to see that people easily prefer absolute crap over this!
@@AbhishekSanyalTGV True. Very few are interested in science, in space.
Melodysheep is one of if not the most underrated channel on CZcams, this stuff is amazing
I cant not rewatch this again and again.
Your videos are so much better than all those high budget movies. The music, the editing, the imagery. I get teleported to a different world every single time!!!
images in this video should me used by series The Orville.
Every time Melody Sheep uploads it feels like a new movie just came out in theatres.
Это одно из лучших видео на youtube что я когда либо видел, по истине настоящее искусство, я очень благодарен за просмотр и благодарен тем людям кто вложил все свои силы в этот шедевр. Это видео по истине должны показывать во всех школах мира.
the production of this film = unmatched. just WOW!!! speechless.
Please never stop making those videos. They are absolutely breathtaking.
Space:Literally
@@staticsfs6823 lol 😂
Arguably the most riveting half hour spent in space!
The soundtrack, narration - not to mention jaw-dropping animation - will leave you transfixed and inspire you to look upon the stars with humility and a renewed sense of hope, as we inch ever more closer to regaining our legacy among them and become the interstellar species we were always destined to be!
I watched all of it and didn't know it was 30 mins long 🤣🤣
Wow!just wow I've been searching for a channel that delves into space exploration and after years i find this gem absolutely incredible the narration the animation this deserves 100 million followers
I truly believe the universe holds as much as the human mind can imagine..
and more..
This channel is a gift to humanity.
Frrrrr
This
*Spot On!* Melodysheep’s videos present the kind of mentally-stunning topics and imagery that make people from all walks of life want to drop their petty political squabbling and go, *_Awesomeness!_* 👍😃👏🏼
Totally agree
Seriously I`m stunned. The amount and complexity of work... the narrative... a lifetime is not enough for this. Full respect for creating this.
we have to figure out how to live forever first before we step into the space.
@@BLACKINFINITYETERNITY yes light years system aren't in our reach yet so immortality is first step
@@kratosgodofwar8366 What an unimaginable unbelievable unthinkable interplanetary journey! it's so miserable that our generation can only be stuck on severely polluted earth for our whole damn life! the solid metal clouds, the tremendous storms and glass rains. l sincerely want to dive in the giant water planets with the thousands kilometers deep oceans. an unbreakable submarine is even more advanced than spacecraft. imagine the enormous water pressure above the seabed. oceans can be more mysterious and much denser than space.
I would be dead before that happens lol better view from Heaven 🌌
