    My son is helping with search and rescue in Bowling Green Ky and they’ve found 15 people that they’re trying to get identified just a few hours ago they are doing all that can possibly do it’s just total devastation . He said “ mom I don’t think that I’ll ever be the same after all of this you just can’t unsee them “ they’re trying their best to help everyone . They’re doing all that’s within their power to save as many people as they can. All that we see is what’s on the news and social media but they’re there doing everything they possibly can . My prayers are with all involved in this terrible tragedy . 😢💔🙏🏻

    People who hid in basements were sucked out by this tornado. People with no access to basements had no chance of survival. People are still stuck in the rubble and slowly dying now, in areas where nobody is coming to reduce them or they'll die being crushed by tractors removing the rubble. We can do something now to save the few survivors left. By copying this comment and sharing it everywhere.

    • @pamelah6431
      @pamelah6431 Před 2 lety +4

      Sometimes the potential for a severe storm is detected days in advance, with the details of the threat becoming clearer the closer you get. Tornadoes are not like hurricanes, which are much slower and more predictable. They start suddenly and can move very quickly and it's hard to predict its path.
      Where you go for shelter depends on where you are - if you have a basement, that's the most ideal place. If not, usually the innermost room. My family lives in a manufactured home - there is zero safe place, so we get in the truck and floor it to somewhere we hope will be safer.
      As far as how we're informed, typically our phones go nuts with alerts and there are air raid-type sirens that turn on outside when danger is imminent.

    All the million and billionaires should chip in and buy everyone a storm shelter but not just any old storm shelter. They should buy everyone a storm shelter that could allow them a place to sleep with bathroom since they lost everything. I mean really take a few months of the interest you wealthy people gain from the banks/investments and help out the people.
