Very good thank you!! Bbut you need to clean up your audio, its very bass-y and muffled. kinda hard to hear some words. Cleaning audio is quick and easy... and makes a huge difference :)Let me know if you need a hand

Thanks a ton for such an amazing tutorial! I am studying Character Animation for Feature Film, and I wanna do the lip syncing professionally and believably. Do you think I can start off with Papagayo, and then go over the graph editor to tweak the curves and fine tune the animation? Or do you think in my case I'm better off without Papagayo altogether? Cause Papagayo seems like a very time saving tool. But if it's not gonna get me the production level result, or it will get me the results but with more than anticipated time spent for tweaking, then I should make the decision before I go through all that process. Your input in this is highly appreciated brother!
I will suggest that you manually animate lip sync for important shots. Shots like close up on main character and emotional shots.
It's fine to go with papagayo for background characters / long or wide shots as this wouldn't be noticeable and it will help speed up your work. Kindly let me know if you have more questions. Regards

Yes you can!
Thnx 4 the video. I was wondering first is this version simular to the older version where you didn't need a facial rig you could use shapekeys instead? Also will you guys make any tutorials using 2.83? This addon needs to be unzipped there though? Thnx again.
It's very similar to the older version. Select the mesh for it to work with Shape keys, Select the Rig for it to work with the Pose Library. The most important thing is the naming of the phonemes.

You have to create a pose Library of the 10 shapes and name it "Lib_Phonemes", this was stated in the video. This is a very important step in the workflow.

The main addon is inside the downloaded zipped file. The folder named "pose_thumbnails" is what you should install in blender. You can extract it and zip it to install or drag it to your add-on folder in your blender directory.

Every time I hit "Plot Keys to Timeline.." everything works fine, BUT, for some reason it is applying keyframes to EVERY SINGLE bone/control, and not just the ones on the mouth!! Any ideas why this is happening?? Thanks for any insight!! and keep making the videos, you are helping a LOT of people right now!!

Yep, was disappointed when I tried this as the key frames did not seem to map to the audio as imported at all!?!?! I spent much time moving key frames around to match audio, but every time I ran the dang blasted thing, the animation and audio would drift out of sync. I think I fixed this by going to timeline, to playback menu, to set AV Sync and then (finally) keyframes fell in line with audio replay.
does this create the shape keys for you? or do you have to already have to have shapes formed
You have to create the shapekeys to your taste and name them properly, the addon only plug in the values.

The python file needs to be renamed "__init__.py" or it won't install into the addons right. Also it is a bit irksome in that it adds keyframes for the entire armature and not just the bones affected by the pose library. It adds an extra step of deleting but over all this addon works well.
Nevermind. I discovered changing the active keying set solves this.
When I press plot keys to timeline I get a traceback error message and I can't find a way to fix it online.
Ah nevermind lol right when I commented this I figured out the issue, I was in edit mode when I had to be in pose mode

How can I use my own customised voice in the project?
You have to record your voice first. Then import into the app and follow the steps in the video. Hope this helps.
