I have to say. The half that Matthew worked on is still a mystery to me.
@@Xcom6000 after this series is over (or coming to an end) we NEED a full explanation video. i'm just a potpvper i have NO IDEA whats going on half the time other than you got bedrock and your voice is hot.
What I got from the video is that someone discovered a bug that when a piston pushes, if the block it's pushing changes at the right moment it breaks for some reason. Allowing you to get that block in item form. So what they did here is perform that glitch at an end Crystal pedestal that was reformed when the dragon was summoned and using an rng manipulator to ensure the pedestal spawns at the same position each time.

Could this tech be used to pick up an end portal frame block as well?
@@joeschmo7002 In 1.8 end portal frame items won´t drop. You have to go to some even older version. And then it´s a bit more difficult because you don´t have slimeblocks. But might be possible.

3000 attempts, but once you get 1 bedrock, you can very well dupe it to infinity if there's an active dupe.
I mean... It's possible on bedrock edition (hence the name I guess)
Tom Evans yep, it’s also far more useful there, because tnt doesn’t drop 100% of the items it exploded and there is no tnt duping, bedrock wither cages are the best way to farm concrete, wood and cobble (and basalt very soon)

sadly, if somehow someone was able to obtain the bedrock item on a pvp gamemode where it could actually have a use (e.g. hcf, classic factions, walls, etc.) they would get insta-banned or have their inventory cleared.

Could u do this in the overworld on a seed where bedrock generates only at y=0 for a big area and then at like y=3 on one block. Then u use the same system to get it with no rng involved

This is amazing. You kind of forgot to mention that bedrock edition is already obtaining bedrock for a long time and it is super simple xD
That’s because most technical players don’t care about bedrock since it’s not as technically accessible as Java for people who do things like this. Obtaining bedrock in bedrock edition doesn’t mean anything.

Sadly no. The 1.8 trick worked on bedrock because it's one of only blocks that randomly could drop itself.

one time on minecraft 360 edition me and my friend were expiraminting with tnt and blowing up a superflat world we had made, and then randomly there was a hole in the bedrock (keep in mind that you couldn't break the lowest bedrock layer with your fist even in creative mode) so we were like whhaaaatt???? anyways we couldn't recreate it lol
