I can kind of understand the GG vs BDS match not counting as a Worlds match. In the FGC, big tournaments that require points for seeding have a Last Chance Qualifier which normally creates a huge hype underdog for the big tournament.

I think NA and maybe even the west as a whole seems to put too much value in team comps and synergies. Not that it’s irrelevant it just seems like maybe we use it as a crutch or an excuse. Like I feel like TL will review this game eventually and spend a disproportionate a mount of time trying to fix the draft. Probably because it’s easier to theorycraft a better draft than actually get in the details and get better at League of Legends. One requires taking responsibility for your mistakes and trying to grind away at bad habits over weeks in soloq. Or you can just say “hey we should pick Jax here next time”. I think this is why NA is behind in skill. Coming from an NA player/fan

The fact NA lost a whole fuckn set to a wildcard. Not bashing down GAM gameplay, theyre a menace and have been every worlds, bc it was never a free win against them. But I dont remember a single time a wildcard won a single time against a top team in a major region till now. Like holy shit GAM lookn like LCK/LPL these matches. Thats how fuckn bad TL were

I don't think he had a choice, really.. The org seemed to have been out of money, and to keep the full 5 another year would be a lot since they were champs... Pretty sure he was just sold to NA to make the org a profit, and at least give him something more.
I was betting TL to win because if its an elimination game, why are we not drafting carry jungle. The only games TL played well were vs T1 (lee sin) and GAM (kindred). Maybe I am just simple minded, idk

Your first problem was assuming that NA would do something smart.
So, um, they keep talking about shaving vs waxing. As a male who does full-body waxing... Waxing doesn't hurt as much as you would think; however, the shins and the ribs hurt a surprising amount. Also, shaving isn't always better if you are trying to impress your significant other. A light and close trim is roughly the same and doesn't cause ingrown hairs (think 1-4 trimmer). Maybe TMI, but hey, ingrown hair SUCKS.

Saying cull makes 180g is the same as saying a Doran's item loses 270g, which is a 450g difference that each player has.
Until you sell the Cull the 450g is worth a little bit less because it's a worse item but after selling you are 450g up.
