- “We wanted to design a custom built house that reflected my clients’ aesthetic and sense of design,” says designer Eva Healy. Taking a ‘less is more’ approach, Eva designed each room in this North Toronto home with airy and contemporary elements including sculptural lighting, a glassed-in staircase and a fabulous wine wall with a back light that emits a gorgeous glow at night.

I never thought I could be so obsessed with a pantry but this is just stunning! 💙
I've never before seen a lighting fixture like that leather sling over the dining table. So cool and unique!
Love that kitchen! No more all white boring kitchen and yet still feel slick and modern.
You are hired. Kitchen is linear, not a corner one. Fireplace is modern. Good job.
I’m impressed by the designer’s work. Given the clients’ aesthetic of a “curated” experience where their surroundings are like store displays, she found great solutions. She’s also very articulate & expressive, more so than other designers you have featured. I enjoyed the video.
Love this..so calm yet architectural
I can see myself moving in here with just my suitcases, and that's a huge compliment cause I'm soooo picky, but this is it. 👌🏻
All the comments make me realize how much taste differ from a person to another one… all I love is the tones of space and it’s new! For me anything that’s contemporary or modern is cold and reminds me office. At home, the last thing I want to think about it it’s work.
Stunning! Love the minimalistic and simplicity style!
You did good. White ceiling, oversized light fixture nice flooring. Bedroom is not just a bed with painting above. Bathroom also all walls are covered. Do not do baseboards and use frameless doors.
I love the color palette. Is this just modern or a modern fusion it looks like to me of mid century.
There is a lot of post-modern influence to the furniture, IMO. Overall it's contemporary with po-mo touches.
I ABSOLUTELY looooooove it! I would. never move either!!!
👏🏾👊🏾🤣 right on
Beautiful design & decor!
LOVE that pantry!
I love the furniture choice they gjve that zen vibes
This is just gorgeous! How many millions and millions did it cost I wonder?
It probably didn’t cost millions a pretty penny, but I don’t think millions
@@tiffanycurtis4794 Yes, true. Probably more like hundreds of thousands.
It’s annoying when they talk about light fixtures and features but then don’t show them lit up.
It is beautiful!!!! Are the kitchen upper cabinets higher than most?
She thought of each detail. She made lots of storage. Storage is backlit. Ceiling is nice and clean without awful holes called potlights. Amount of furniture is correct should not be more than 20 percent of the area. She did everything right.
Less is more mindset already affects a lot of home owners an designers positively. ✨✨
I LOVE IT
Beautiful 🧡
That's a good one. Up to European standards. Just do a reveal instead of baseboard. But it is close where world design is moving to.
cool!
I'd like to know where those dining chairs came from! LOVE
It's Baba Chair designed by Emmanuelle Simon. However, tons of replicas out there. 😑
Some home runs and also some ? The central stair case is a home run. The home office with no doors or true privacy is a total miss - it’s an office for show only. Also agree that it’s odd to display wine with a sight line from the front entrance. And wine storage with a direct light source on the bottles is a terrible idea if you actually care about your wine.

And that pantry with all the open shelving…just no. It will be a hot mess all the time. Especially with kids in the house.
I'm confused. I both like it and dislike it. I think i like the design n the layouts. But not the color and choice of furniture. Not sure if im make sense
Each design component has utility but they don't blend well as a whole. I imagine it needs a high level of housekeeping to look this way. Not fond of seeing wine display from entrance.
Really like it!
Choice of color and furniture - that’s the homeowner’s choice, with guidance from the designer.
@@vivr4921 i know that
Beautiful. Well done 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Beautifully executed, but the “colorless” design lacks any warmth.
Well, the clients wanted it this way. So… tough luck.
I disagree. I find it a quiet warm space.
@@brandoniswhoiam I have no doubt that they did, my luck has nothing to do with it.
@@MariaGreece777 It’s good that there are different designs for everyone.
@@karlaschmid8757 Yes, of course.
Some people are mentioning furniture. Furniture is stagging, but design is much more than that.
More beige.
If people like beige neutral colors then they like beige neutral colors🤷🏽♀️
Много простора. Это хорошо. Но нет дверей. Если в этом доме будет жить больше 2 человек, они будут друг другу мешать
