I dont mean to compare but THIS is your calling versus a Carlos King. I love how you say “I wasnt convinced” then your guest can organically elaborate on the topic. Its not just you telling the guest how great and fabulous and iconic they are. You’re not playing the typical gay caricature host,which is refreshing.
Why was Carlos brought up? They are both great at what they do. Successful black men who so happened to be gay.

Timing is the most important factor to success. A lot of us have said this for years and he has slowly but organically rose to TV, Radio, Internet, and Print success. I think what we are witnessing is Q entering that very season you are talking about. We have seen all we don’t like when it comes to maybe a Carlos and even a Bravo Andy but THIS more than raggedy tv hoes and their drama is where he will OWN his lane. I love it because THIS is the timing that was fit for him to even be respected by these older school stars which has so much more value than a quick and easy interview from a love and hip hop baddie. I totally agree that this is HIS FOR THE TAKING

You know what I might need to hear Nicci out. I love P Valley so I was NOT on her side when the news first dropped. However I can’t imagine creating such a project just for it to be stolen and go on to be so successful with a 100 mil budget. Whew

Your power to navigate conversation, get the answers and really get to the point is GOLDEN… I’ve been apart of the funky bunch from the start and I must say this interview has shown growth, what hard work will get you and persistence. I am so so so proud of you man because yes I can laugh at the banter and reads but this side of you is most enjoyable. My friends ask me all the time if you could sit down with someone and really have an intellectual conversation WHO WOULD IT BE WITH? And most certainly I always say QUENTEN LATHAM FIRST, then FUNKY DINEVA !!!!!! To understand and know the difference is to know and understand you as a person!!! I truly enjoyed this interview that provided such great context to why Mrs. Gilbert is who she is.
