To be fair tottenham had consistently outperformed them for most of the decade. From 2010 - 2018 Liverpool only finished above tottenham once in 13-14 when they were one Gerard slip away from a title. They had dropped further then that and really become the equivalent of Everton which would hurt a lot more. Klopp now has them legitimately considered the best team in europe over the last couple of seasons. Has been a massive turn around.

A life changing opportunity will only knock on your door once. Whether you let it go or grab it with both hands depends on how emotionally bogged down you are or whether you are ruthless and smart enough to understand the immense positive implications it can have.
Liverpool was smart enough to understand it with regard to Klopp. As much as I hate their current success , Liverpool was smart enough to not have missed a trick then.

Rodgers was ok but when he lost Suarez it was always going to be downhill plus coming so close and then buckling in the last 5 games was a tough pill to swallow. For me Liverpool have signed some great players recently but the best purchase they made was Jurgen Klopp. Worth every penny.
