First I didn't know the name of this kind of img, PAPER HOLE IMG, now I know.
2nd I wanted to make an image depicting a two faced person: the image under being dark and the upper layer being a normal but torn off paper img layer.

Oh thank goodness for your channel. There are a ton of other 'quick tut' videos for achieving this effect on YT, but nearly all of them have zero narration, no visual indicators for the intstructions, and rely on 'sick background music' to get people to attempt to watch along. Just...tell me what to do. Use your words...LOL Thank you!

It could be a crack in the sidewalk, a foggy day, rippling water, a reflection or shadow, an interesting design, etc. Sometimes, subscribers may suggest ideas that intrigue me, too.

Go to Layer > Create Clipping Mask. Also, make sure your image mode is correct : go to Image > Mode > RGB color, 8 bits/Channel.
What type of computer do you use?
Windows 10 desktop
Great tutorial! But The resolution is to small!
The steps are the same for higher resolutions. Just increase the amount for the drop shadow.
