Was not expecting this to be a sci-fi version of Crystal Palace (without the setting of pip value). Now it's on my radar.
This is a marvelous game with an engaging solo experience. The decision space is tight yet flexible. Also the art is a great throwback to 80's afterschool tv show superhero and sci fi art, but even hipper.
I'm having this ' Mass Effect The Board Game ' feeling seeing this. Obviously without conflict.

I don’t know why but for some reason the art on the box reminds me of an odd animated film called Fantastic Planet which was made in the 70’s. Namely the two shorter aliens on the cover.
One of the weirdest films you’ll ever see.
Is that the French one with weird synth funk for its soundtrack? Yea, that one was bizarre 😂
I think it's in the aliens' eyes...that slightly bulgy/empty look in the illustration has a very particular look.
25:14: shouldn't the alien get a dice since she did only get so far up that she did not get a cristal?
yup, that was an overight (I think i mentioned it in the extended). paulo will note it when he gets to the goof checks i'm sure :)
Apologies if I've missed an existing note but at 14:40 isn't that the wrong place to put the bot's die? It should be on the white space instead so that the whole Foundry is blocked off, not just the 5-space.

My bets are on "Ree". I'd definitely put an "h" in a name if I wanted readers to avoid reading a diphtong. ;-)

I dont know if it is just me, but I really prefer when you do a two player run through (which I really like). I have no interest in solo games, so I skip these solo run throughs.
i understand, and i'm sorry to say you'll probably be more disappointed going forward, because playing solo is SO much easier and more enjoyable for me, it's probably going to be standard whenever the player experience is largely the same (as is the case here... whether i'm playing against jen or the AI who does all the same sorts of things as Jen, i'm still making the same decisiosn and strategic planning - so demoing solo means folks who want to get an idea of the regular experience it, and folks who want to know about solo are also covered... two birds!) :)

that's too bad. i like it, and i am embarrassed that my video makes the game look a bit worse because i had my light too bright and it's blowing things out. if you check out pictures of the game, you'll see it's a bit more subdued IRL :)

@@rahdo i mean, the art is not awful, but definitely not something I enjoy, especially not the cover... The character cards doesnt look that bad tho...
gameplay-wise, the game looks fine, not innovative, but not bad
