How do we pre order or reserve? I'm super excited!!
Please email sales@rain6.com with the subject "List Me" to get on a first come first serve list. Thank you
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 will these be equal to the common upgrades you guys done to thr original Arsenal stryke one and archon type B V1? Or better ?
@@PghMtbRides Good question, you won't need stippling on the Gen II. We will still offer trigger jobs, slide cuts, compensators etc. I'm sure when we get them we'll do a handful of very special editions, probably the steel frame version.
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 how about a 22 TCM 9r barrel and extractor spring for shits snd giggles :-D
Always wanted one with an optics cut. I’m hyped for this.
I agree. Great name btw
@@matthewwilson3475 LOL nice!
I am so freaking hyped!! Can’t wait to see more footage and see this in action.
US TOO!
Love my type b, so I can't wait for the gen 2
Really wish there was a compact version. I’d want 3.
What a beautiful firearm!
I like how the texturing goes all the way to the top of the frame where it meets the slide. That's a critical part on the left side where your support hand presses into the grip. Could even extend toward the top of the trigger guard, wouldnt bother me any lol
I really hope they go full size barrel length soon too
Very cool
I'd love to have that in Europe for a reasonable price (not the imported one).
I own an Arsenal Firearms that I love a lot.
That V2 is... wow.
So sick
Sick
I would love to get a chance to try o e of your firearms. They look fantastic. I like the original design. The low bore axis and basically non moving barrel is a unique design.
And from Canada we hope for a change in gov't so we also may enjoy your products
Change your gov. we finally are down here! You could use an exporter out of AZ, gun runner something.
Thank you
Wating for factory OR.
Wating for moving serial number from plastic to steel.
Wow!. I'll add an ambi slide release.
Does this have any retrofitting with the previous generation Type Bs?
👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
available in europe ?
What will the parts comparability be with the gen1? Or asked a different way- any major changes internally or just a slide and grip?
all parts are interchangeable with Gen I. Also, you could even upgrade your Gen I to Gen II. Consists of new back plate, firing pin, and new grip. So it would be a Gen II clone ;)
Why the the new back plate/firing pin? What was the goal of the change?
How about an offering in 10mm?
not happening, but sounds cool.
I’ve had type B’s on order for 2 years. Apparently my rep is no longer with Archon. Will dealers be contacted about existing orders?
email them at general@archonfirearms.us
Those with pre-existing orders are getting their orders changed for a gen 2. And yes, the old dealer in the US is no longer working with them. Send them an email.
Type-C when?
When and how can we get them? Archon is so hard to get in US!
not for long, email general@arconfirearms.us and subject "ravenous" to be put on a first come first serve basis.
Oh, by the way, that grip design on Type B Gen 2 to me looks more and more like cheaply stuck on Talon Grips stickers, not anything fresh and/or unique. 🤪
Will gen 1 still be in production?
It's all Gen II here on out.
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 when will thet become available?
Type A and C?
no idea, but A would likely be next imo.
Are they still working with SAI?
negative, SAI sold to Evike. Archon is not affiliated with Arsenal Firearms or Salient
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 evike the airsoft company bought sai the firearm company?
@@Dexter-nw2fe yep
What’s the Type D?
Just the other slide option
I don’t understand . Who is this and are they proven ?
I own two Archon type b’s the one I’ve been shooting all year in competitions with only one malfunction I believe was of my own doing. I put just under 6k through it last year with practice and competition. Love the way the trigger works love the gun.
@@swiftaudi what’s the pricing on these
@@beyeholy4352 no idea the Gen 1 sold for $850-$950. The trigger was next level though in design and the barrel is also next level. The new rock island 5.0 barrel is designed after this design. Archon is likely to be one of those companies that dies in the end and other manufactures steel the design aspects and find away to market them as new and revolutionary. Hope I am wrong.
@@swiftaudi yea I seen the square barrel . Looks nice . I haven’t heard of these guys but looks interesting
New mag release?
😊
I'm not going to get excited again. I wasted energy anticipating this for years and then it just didn't hit the market, I found one guy in Vagas who had a handful. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see this being a viable product
Please make more than just 9mm
what would you like to see next?
.45, 10mm, .357 sig, 5.7x28
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 No. We don't need more models, sku's and calibers to complicate and slow manufacturing. We need to meet the current demand first.
@@brianp7268 Yes indeed, This is called data gathering, it can never start too soon.
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 5.7! and .22 TCM 9r
.22 TCM 9r would jist need a barrel and lighter extraction spring
This was not the way to go. Think sig 320. They had a trigger housing they could use as the firearm and just make grip modules dang it. The possibilities are endless that way this making them a real competitor. Their barrel design was next level and it’s just never going to get the attention it deserves unless you give people something they can make their own and show off on the gram! Also I was really hoping for a strike One optics ready gun.
The Sig 320 came after the Strike One, I always heard Sig got the idea from Arsenal, no? Anyway and also, the Strike One will have no connections with Archon, they are Arsenal Firearms.
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 Don’t misses understand me. I love archons. I mean the archon has a trigger housing and it’s serialized. We could literally just have grip modules, long, tall or short whatever, aftermarket, aluminum, steel or just polymer. The new gun looks good, hope they made some improvements to the sear and trigger housing.
@@swiftaudi the p320 is trash, that barrel axis should be illegal
@@swiftaudi I believe a metal grip is coming and the actual gun is the sub frame tigger housing. I'll clarify, but Archon has explained as much to me. Also the sear how has two buttresses so it's indestructible. Thank you!
@@Dexter-nw2fe I’m talking about you’re out uses a trigger housing as the firearm. So the grips can be swapped out for aftermarket or factory new. Guess you miss understood me.
And yet, another Glock clone added to the bunch .
Glocks are like soooooo 90's

I wish you guys didn’t put that notch on the slide. Just keep it flat.
No fucking way!!!
The Type D has a flat slide, done, tada. LOL Mike, that's the whole point of the Type D, guess it's a hit!
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 it looks so good! I just hope they’ll be in stock
Well, I'd like to thank RAIN6 for posting this video. Unfortunately Archon Firearms continues to act in the same manner as they always been acting - very vague about their products, luck of concrete information, poor service at best, ignoring questions and purchase requests, providing very confusing information and answering as little as possible.
* As per the new Archon Type B Gen 2 & D models - The original Type B was unique, with Grip Mopping feature to date unsurpassed by any manufacturer. The new Gen 2 grip is nothing special or unique and rivals the grip designs and textures of run of the mill, cheaper manufacturers, such as Brazilian Taurus and number of Turkish pistol brands.
As far as Type D goes - once again, that slide is one of many others, nothing special or unique about it, looks like dozens of other rrun or the mill designs.
All and all, Archon should have stuck to their original, unique design from 2018. In this particular case - more "improvements" only amounts to less!
Also, would the price for the Gen 2 be less as well? Doubtful...
Well for me, I hated the Gen1 Grip, Im glad they are changing it. Im betting they had a lot of complaints about it and thats why they are changing it.
They are going to have 2 choices of slides it looks like. i have the gen1 so ill be getting the one that looks more "run of the mill", like a Glock
And who the hell would even dream of the next generation of any product be less money.?... lol
Your just one of those people whos never happy.
On the contrary, I was always very happy with Gen 1 product, whether it was qn original German proofed or the subsequent Hungarian proofed. It was uniquely designed and properly executed.
As far as the Archon company went, that was another story all together - nothing but bad service, empty promises, chaotic and confusing Customer Service, that never could provide any concrete answers and only added to confusion of the useless hype.
Sorry, but that B model in Gen 2 configuration has lost the uniqueness of the original Gen 1 design, which actually was loved by the fans and owners, with a run of the mill grip. The D model is yet another example of copying and not leading.
Sorry friend, I just can not agree with your reply.
Optics cut and stippling instead of that goofy grid texture anf youll have the perfect gun
Optic ready and suppressor ready are coming.
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 msrp ?
The grip can be stippled as an alternative to the grip tapes we offer thanks to cooperation with Talon Grips. We’ll show some of our stippled guns in due time as well. The grip is perfect for it.
I'm hoping you got my Dm .
I'm hopeful we can talk soon.
Where did you send it to IG?
@@rain6firearmsandlifestyle131 yes sent on Saturday to the main Archon firearms pg
Nice Glock......
fitting for a regular guy... jk lol
Its a non-tilting action and lower bore axis. And probably different handling geometry. So no, not a glock. Thats pleb shit right there kid
Most all polymer guns are modeled after the Glock. This one is not even similar except maybe in its exterior appearance.
