Darnell began his career in transportation as a Washington D.C. Metro bus driver. He spent nine years building up his resume with the Metro before he finally decided that there had to be more to life than driving subway cars and buses. He traded in his one car for two 15 passenger vans and on August 23, 2006 founded W&T Transportation. His first contract was for just $400 and after word spread about the comfort and reliability of his driving services, he continued getting small contracts; after just one year of business, W&T had made $50,000. Darnell lives in an 8,000 square foot house that includes a gym and theater room. He loves spending money on pricey jewelry and has an impressive collection of luxury watches. But his ultimate prized possession is the 1995 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl ring he had custom made, perfect down to each jewel and diamond.

Darnell, you're very inspiring to those in the business. Part where he says- You're part therapist, you're part bartender, part babysitter - really resonated. it's so true. When you're in the private transportation field, you do go great lengths to learn and look after your client- their favorite things, and behaviors. A degree of relax and pamper. Certain times, can be highly needy~ hence babysitting as said. In fact- some of the long time regulars trust you so much they don't know where they're headed to! =D 'Luxury' transportation doesn't have to be superduper highend but yet sharp and durable enough to run on-demand.. has to be of distinguishable quality, comfortable and clean
