@Joshua Merwine out of Denver area a couple yrs back.... I made the mistake NOT planning ahead when I knew I was moving. This service could meet my urgency...of which I was very thankful for & set the appointment. I had a standard couch, goofy medical bed and 2 very old 27” box style TVs...
They arrived and looked at what I wanted gone. Then...if I remember right... they handed me some kind of laminated pricing menu and it came up $1200. This was $700 to $900 more then anticipated. I do fully admit to being a total novice at the dump, donations and pick-up services!
Again, I made the mistake of not planning ahead... otherwise local donation service would have picked up couch & bed. My apartment complex guy was truly nice and threw away the 2 TVs (which was another lessons learned as old style TVs are truly difficult to get rid of... legally... I could probably add!...). I think i paid $550 for the couch removal and some boxes that I made a quick decision to throw out...
This service is great for ‘immediate need’... it fills the gap that was never there! (...just sticker shock for me!...)
Currently I’m back at my home in AZ and have a monthly landscaper... so, if I do have something to ‘chuck’... I give him a few extra bucks and it’s gone!

It may be that they weren't coached to say that. Languages may have thousands upon thousands of different phrases but we are still simple human beings. A certain set of people have only a small number of phrases they commonly and frequently use. In this case, it's the entrepreneur set of people they are covering and entrepreneurs use that phrase a lot

Saying this guy is blue collar is like saying Roy Crock was blue collar for inventing McDonalds. I used to do hauling and one of the reasons I quit was seeing this guy moving in. He sells FRANCHiSES. He hasn't got dirt under his nails in years. I doubt he did this without taking out massive loans or getting his dad to back him up when he started. People simply respond to the slick advertising which I saw cost more than I would ever be able to afford.
