I remember reading The Forgotten Island years ago, and it still remains one of the best horror books I've ever read. It's 10/10!

I read five of his books so far, The Haar and Dead Girl Blues are my two five stars (and they're both ALL TIME faves), then I love The Forgotten Island and Night Shoot so much. And he's releasing a new book next month! So glad we got a new Sodergren stan.

So happy to see this reading vlog I literally just finished my first David Sodergren book last week, Maggie's Grave, and I ate it up all the female rage. I had to stop myself from running out and buying up all of his other books after I finished!

I can recommend Maggie's Grave, that book is such a fun, wild ride right from the start. Maggie is quite the character...
And also The Haar, one of my favorite reads last year. Some great horror, and it also has one of my favorite main characters, and a surprisingly emotional love story. I didn't expect to end up with tears in my eyes, but there I was.
