🚫 BEEN BULLIED ON SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT OK🚫

Recently i was accused of laying claim to am image i uploaded on social media and was torn appart in the comments as i was unable to prove otherwise. Social media can be a powerful tool used in the right hands but in the wrong hands it is dangerous.

Well said mate. Anyone who knows you can vouch for your credibility and authenticity, but there are always some idiots out there who just want to cause trouble. Social Media is the worst place for it as they can hide behind anonymity. None of them actually have the talent to create something and put it out there to entertain others. I've taken a big step back from Social Media these days and very rarely post anything anywhere because of how social media was making me feel. I shoot for me because I enjoy the taking and editing of photos. The fact that they just sit on my laptop when I'm done, I'm ok with because I'm not doing it to share with anyone else. You are, and every credit to you for that. You're providing something for people to watch and enjoy and doing it free of charge. It bugs the hell out of me that some really small minded individuals feel the need to criticise that. Keep doing what you're doing and ignore the keyboard warriors

Thank you for this mate, honestly its comments like this that really keep me motivated to carry on doing what I love. I know by making my images public I'm open to criticism, but this was a different level that iv even seen never mind experienced. Iv since been told that the group in question have a habit of this and the moderator team aren't keeping an eye on it.

@@optical_creator I didn't see the image or I would have had to comment at the time. Sounds a bit of a toxic group to be honest, if that's a regular occurrence. Don't let them get to you. A lot of it comes from the fact that they can't do what you do and are jealous of that.

Dan, those detractors are sad little beings with no life, if they see something that is better than what they can produce, of course they're going to try and bring you down. They get off on upsetting/trolling others, they are eaten up with bad feelings, I actually feel sorry for them. I don't reply to these people, it's the reply that they are after, it means they've had a reaction, if you ignore them, it actually hurts them, they need that negative reaction to feed their vile personas. My advice would be, in future, leave the image up, leave the comments up for others to see, but don't react to them, seriously, it really gets them annoyed. Take care mate and carry on with what you are doing 👍
