I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller czcams.com/users/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.
you can buy reverse osmosis refills for .37 cents a gallon at Walmart at their water station. just keep cleaned milk gallon jugs & go fill them up to use for the water. no need to go spend a buck every time you need "clean" water. nuff said. however clean & sanitize every week also your humidifier.
Where would you add filter that comes with it?
Just put some white vinegar in it and slosh it around and your good for the cleaning part. I clean mine once a week.

Using a go-pro is great, however using a chest mount was a complete fail IMO.
The instructions say you cant use it on a wooden floor where are you using it?
+Name Noname It is actually on my desk. I have tried it on wooden floor and usually what happens is then water vapor falls on the floor which then can be slippery.

I'm planning to buy a humidifier but before that I bought a hygrometer and the reading on my hygrometer is 81'F / 73% and I'm suffering from dry skin... and I'm lost if I still need to buy one.
+James Chua 73% is pretty high, the hygrometer should usually be located away from windows or anything that can make it inaccurate. There are other factors that also causes dry skin like long showers. I would recommend trying lotion after shower if you already have not. Quick question does your nose feel stuffy at night and does your throat feel dry when swallowing?

stuffy nose when waking up, dry throat nope, dehydrated T-zone (dehydrated coz my Tzone is oily but rough like a dry skin) I can temporary hydrate using an aloe vera gel + cetaphil moisturizer.
but I can't find a remedy that works on my dry scalp that keep on flaking.
if this is not cause by low humidity.. I should look for other causes. all I know for now is symptoms often start after waking up from a cold weather/rainy day.

I comb my hair in the shower after I apply shampoo. My bedroom temperature is 68 degrees, 60% Humidify , and I have a HEPA air filter that constantly runs throughout the day. Also I take one capsule of fish oil before I go to bed.
73% is way too high -20 or colder no higher than 40 I’m very sorry about your dry skin put some lotion on

+Walker Sonneville you can also buy a demineralization filter cartridge from crane so that you are able to use tap water. If it's just soft water alone without filter, it may leave small amount of fine white powder due to the mineral in the water.
Mine came with a filter, and it doesn't seem to blow as much of the vapor as yours is. Did yours come with a filter?

Mine did not come with the filter. If you are using distilled water you can use it without the filter and see if it is affect thing output
