    I've had to fill previous humidifiers in the tub because they would not fit in the sink. Filling it in the tub is also much faster.

    Can we use it even in summer if in the morning i feel my noise is ‘dry’

    • @AdKatTech
      @AdKatTech  Před 6 lety

      Yes, Traditionally people use Humidifiers in the winter, because the air is dryer. Depending on where you live, you could use a humidifier all year long if the air is dry and you need it.

    Despite frequent disinfection with vinegar, I've got a thin red film inside of the tank. Any ideas on how to get rid of it since the tank doesn't disassemble?

      @AdKatTech  Před 6 lety +1

      Depending on location, you might need an ac adapter. Aside from that, I do not see why not, it will put moisture back into the air. so if that's what you are looking for, this will do that.

    do you get a white powder from it ?

    • @AdKatTech
      @AdKatTech  Před 5 lety

      The white powder build-up you see in/on your humidifier is the result of minerals in your tap water, otherwise known as hard water

    is it okay to put essential oil to this humidifier?

    • @AdKatTech
      @AdKatTech  Před 6 lety

      Crane does not recommend putting oil into this machine. I believe they make another model that is for oil.

    I had purchased a Crane personal humidifier the other day but had to return it because it made constant dripping gurgling sounds, similar to the sounds the Honeywell was making in your comparison video, which made it impossible to sleep with. Does this make any gurgling bubbling sounds or just a silent motor? Thanks, td

    • @AdKatTech
      @AdKatTech  Před 5 lety

      When you initially fill the water tank and place it on the base, it does gurgle and bubble, because the base is filling with water, after that, even after having it for over a year, it still runs almost silent. Maybe you had a defective unit.

    • @todddavidson9066
      @todddavidson9066 Před 5 lety

      Ad Kat Tech That’s what i thought so I purchased another one. Unfortunately, the second one made the same constant bubbling sounds. The noise from the motor was minimal but the gurgling/bubbling made it feel like we were trying to sleep next to a broken faucet. It was pretty awful. Maybe because it was their cheaper smaller model? Nevertheless, i might give this one a try as my sinuses are desperate for a humidifier. Thank you for the review and the help. td

    Distilled water is better. No minerals.
