*Well-made, delivered quickly, and easy to install with **Fastly.Cool** . I may be imagining it, but it seems quieter than the 14 year-old unit that I pulled out. Of course it was noisy at the end due to failed bearings, so hard to compare.*
My original intention for this humidifier was to use it for plants that require high moisture levels. After using it in my room, czcams.com/users/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj however, I think that's where it is going to stay in the fall and winter season at least. The increased humidity in my room made the room warmer and more comfortable. I had first ran the humidifier for 4 hours with the timer setting for it. After the first hour, I checked my room and can feel the difference. When the full 4 hours was up, I checked again and noticed that the humidifier was shut off as it is suppose to. The moisture level never seem to get passed 56/57%. I then let it run until all the water is used up, which it wasn't all used up. There are still some left in the base that you are not suppose to add water to. I filled up the water tank all the way again, being careful when removing it from the base. Some left over water may spill out. After putting it back on and setting the unit to auto, I let it operate. It didn't stop running, rather I don't know if it did at any point since I didn't check it regularly, for 24 hours after which the water in the tank ran out. The moisture reading never passed 56/57%, which may be a good thing for me. Being situated right next to my bed, the noise was not very noticeable with the occasional water gurgle from time to time as the unit ran.
I just bought it last week in December 2019. First I coughed so bad just at night with no reason and my lip look like cold sore, after I used this item everything just quit now I can sleep all night. It’s really good for winter.👍
I have the same one it helps a lot with my allergies and sinuses I love it
It was very reassuring to see the mist visibly pumping out. Looks like a nice powerful little device for the price tag.
The water dripping sound is normal.. Mine drips occasionally and it adds a such a relaxation ambience factor for my clients (I do massage therapy).
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Alex Layne Instablaster ;)
@Kamden Jericho thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kamden Jericho it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out!
@Alex Layne No problem :)
I need one. Last night out of nowhere i woke up with a huge nosebleed from dry air. I suffer with allergies and mild asthma too. I always have my window open for the dry air but it's not enough i feel.
@Gengar Phantom *ikr*
She was on meth.
Lol your funny
And yes the water is supposed to splash around like that inside, it's totally normal. 👍
Got this is a hand me down from a friend and this is super helpful. Thanks! ☺️
Thanks...
I just got one for Christmas.
I had no Clue how to use it. 💛
Should be using distilled water, because due to the ultrasonic micro displacement you can actually seperate the scale and cause build up on the membrane. Also do not get oils or fragrances on the membrane or it will damage the membrane in short order. Even a few drops of essential oils can damage the ultrasonic membrane.
so where do we put the essential oils then? Been trying to find out
@@azaifel not in those ones. Vics used to have a vapor style one where you put the essential oil in them.
@Kirk M yes they are. However those style of vaporizers are not recommended. These are bacteria prone can cause streptococcus aureus which can be deadly. Best is to have a pot of water on a heat source
@Kirk M no distilled there can't be no impurities. I got rid of mine because of bacterial growth in the system and the replacement capillary tubes. Some bacteria are streptococcus Aureus that can cause pneumonia and other respiratory issues. I would not recommend these anymore
@Kirk M if it's easier to clean yes. But always remember you don't want water to go stagnant.
The *perfect* video doesn't exi-
Thank you for this! Very helpful. 😍 We were able to use our humidifier. Good job 👌💯

People who use small humidifiers with a small water capacity like this Crane humidifier as well as people who used distilled water in a humidifier should use Ecoflap vent covers if they’re using their humidifier in a room with floor vents. The Ecoflap makes all humidifiers use a lot less water and therefore run longer between refills by automatically opening and closing floor vents with the operation of the furnace fan to prevent humidified air from draining out of the room into the ductwork - thereby keeping humidified air in the room where it belongs. As a result, you’ll use much less water (and save a lot of money if you use distilled water) plus you won’t have to go through the aggravation of refilling your humidifier as often.
We're thinking of buying one, so this was very helpful. Thank you for the tips!
I had tonsil and soft palate cancer.
The treatment damaged my saliva glands and other areas.
Hence rely dry mouth n throat
Extremely bad secretion build up over night
So my oncologist advised I get a humidifier.
Just bought one wheres the best place to place the humidifier in my bedroom at night.
Ideas will be very much appreciated thankyou.
Thank you! From instructions, never would have figured out how to put water in the thing.
Awesome video! I bought one did not understand how to set it up! Thanks :)
Glad it helped. Thx for watching!
Your an idiot if you cant read instructions
Thank you for sharing this video it was very informative
Idk whats the reason for dehydrated feeling, dry mouth and dry dry eyes at night but planning to get one dehumidifier... think im gonna get this now
allegri9cl One of two things, you are not drinking enough water (at least one ounce for 1 kilogram), or you are not getting enough fat in your diet.
I'm in south Florida where the summers are very humid outside. I moved into new place on the beach and we had a new central A/C put and after a few hours in the place with new AC on my mouth is dry and my throat is sore. I've had this happen staying in Hotel rooms with wall units. I'm thinking it might indoor humidity??
if you got a dry mouth and dry eyes the last thing you need is a Dehumidifier !
Allergies and dust.
:(
Will it take my dog for walks or will I still need to make breakfast myself?
damn, people in youtube comment section make one joke and thousands come to attack.. nobody has a sense of humor (good or bad) nowadays
😂 😂 😂
I think they patched in this update 4 years ago it was working idk bout now
@@marcolemon9611 COME ON! QUIT NERFING MY DAMN HUMIDIFIER!
@@dimitricantrell3772 tired "jokes". 💤💤💤💤💤
Thanks I didn’t really know how to use mine
I always use Distilled Water! That way buildup is kept to a minimum, and the room never smells like chlorine.
Lol your hilarious...smells like chlorine huh....where you grabbing your water from , the local indoor pool ?🤣
Distilled is costly and wasteful. I top the humidifiers up with my toddler's bath water every night, adds a nice scent to the mist.
@@martinwest4980 LMFAO OMG IM DYING HERE
Thank you so much, I brought one for my house and it works great ❤️
Great information. Thanks !!
Great review! Now I can finally use it!
This video was very helpful. Thanks!
I have one it’s helps me with my breathing problems and allergies
Does water go into the white base or stay within the blue tinted water tank?
Distilled water is usually recommended for all humidifiers. You're using tap water. is there a difference?
Probably have to clean it more often with tap water.

pls check it out.
Your fine

Thanks.love the review as I wanted to look for one for my orchids.
Thank u for helping me 😁
can you put some essential oils in humidifier?
I wonder the same thing
umm not sure but mine can, it has it’s own aroma tray for essential oils
depends on the kind of humidifier youre using... there are humidifier that are just humidifier and not essential oil friendly not a diffuser humidifier.
I put hydrogen peroxide in mine.
Thank you so much for this video!!! Very helpful☺
can we use ice cube with water
You can use regular sink water in a humidifier? I thought it had to be distilled?
it depends on the quality of your local water, soft water is okay.
What if i don't listen to instructions and just put tap water when it's out...is that gonna make trouble? Because it says i have to clean something with vinegar
I've been using regular water for years. Sooner or later you'll have to clean it yes. I rinse mine out every few weeks and usually do clean it with vinegar at the beginning of each humidifier season for us (that's winter). It's not too hard to do. Here's a video of how I do it: czcams.com/video/mCgZqUG5Q8U/video.html
Thanks for watching! DANDLINC
Just a question. When you put the top part, did any water fill the bottom part? This is what happened to me and steam was also coming from the side as well. Thank you!
🥯
I'm trying to find one for my dog I'm not sure if I should get a cool mist or warm mist humidifier
Hello, my cat has asthma and I was told to get a cool mist humidifier. Hope your baby feels better soon.
Thanks! Super helpful :)
So all you need is water?
Hi , does it cool the room ? Bring the temperature down ?
Not noticeably. Damp usually 'feels cooler' to me. Thx.
Hello everyone, why do I always find water at the bottom of the "stand" , the white part whenever I want to refill water ? Is this normal?
It is normal. The ultrasonic transducer is built into the white base of the device.
How much electricity does it consume
Does it support essential oils or fragrances?
No
thks so much dandling im buying today this 01-23-2019 my doughter can't breath and i don't know how to use this is first time i ever seen so i watched your clib video it helps alot ths again
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe...that helps me out. DANDLINC.
Will this make my skin, couch and desk damp? Create mold?
If it supports your room size. No.
Great Review! How long does it last for full tank of water with max setting?
I think 24 hours
yes around 24.
Was going to get one in vegas when i go in june , thx for the demo , does that one need filters?
holdem5180 it doesn’t need !
Does it kill germs such as flu, cold, etc? Also is it low maintenance cost?
Another item that's been around for years!! Just ordered one after having a nosebleed that scared me.
Don't use tap water!!!!
No design change in 8 years!!!!
i filled water in the hole where it says do not fill here and water started spilling everywhere😭
So..does that ruin it or can you let it dry out and use it in a day or 2?
Q: are all the humidifiers are doing the same job ?!
In this humidifier, can we add any fragrance with water?
JAFFER .S. SADHIK yes but the base will get dirty quick like after three uses
Got update? Still working? Did you always use tap water not distilled? How do you clean the blue container?
Is that the mist going to be wet around?
Keep away from furniture, wood and walls.... as long as there is ventilation the moisture should remain in the air and maybe in the container. Just in case don't leave on overnight
THE REAL TEST IS CAN IT ACTUALLY BE DE-SCALED WITH VINAGAR???
Would you like to tell electricity consumption of humidifier. Does it consume electricity of Iron..
And at what is Watt wtitten on it
I just bought one, please how do u place the VapoPads, I didn't see him do it in the video? Thank you.
I have the same one...do you know if it has an automatic stop in case the water runs out?
The manual says it stops automatically, but the lights will still be on.
Mine has a USB cord and I have no instructions.i have done what was said and it does not work. Please help
are you supposed to use this overnight or before sleeping?
Most folks use them overnight. You can run them anytime you want to put more humidity in the room. Thanks for watching!
DANDLINC - it says distilled water, not tap water. But thank you for the demo!
Would using Distilled water be a better way to go? I have a Cold and will also be rubbing some Vicks Vapor Rub on my chest.
Distilled would be fine.
Does this have a LED ?
No, not like a Night-Light LED. There is a small round dome inside the tank (about the size of a peanut) that will glow red when there's not enough water.
Is this more powerul in terma of releasing the mist than the .5 gallon?
I found that same humidifier at home depot

No filter needed? I didn't see it.
Right. No filter needed on this model. Thanks for watching!
Does the mist feel warm?
No.........it feels cool.
Hi.. i bought same like this ,but there is no option to put vicks please tell me can i put vicks in this one in the water?
Mine stopped working, no mist coming out. Do you know how to fix it?
Damn that's big.
Does make the air cool or cold
Does it make the area all wet ?
Thank you
I really need on I wake up with a sore throat and stuffy nose
Can you only breathe out of one nostril? Thats a problem i have. Its actually not a stuffy nose but it happens to some people. Itss sooooo annoying!!! I need one of these asap.
Does a cool must humidifier make a room cold? Please reply back asap. I'm thinking about buying one because it's so hot in my room
It will make your room hotter
+Life According To Collin
only if you have hot water inside it...
+Twiliiii It should not affect your room temperature by much. Depending on the size of your room of course. These units are so small.
Why can’t you place it on a wooden surface?
You can, there's just the inherent issue of wet things on wood. It may cause wood warping, peeling or even rot. That's all. Thanks for watching.
Thank you👍👍👍
This video didn’t help me … where the vapor pads goes how much water we supposed to put , how we turn it on
What is this for like what does it help with?
Mine the water goes under and everywhere :(
I am having the same issue? Did you find the solution?
thanks!!!! ✌✌
so you can just fill it up with tap water?, don't need to boil it first?.
nope! just clean it weekly and you should be good!
PotatoPootato So the water that is released is distilled ?
the mist that is released should be relatively clean with tap water. distilled water will have the mist clean
is this newborn baby safe? I am trying to decide between cool and warm mist humidifiers
My youngest is now 5 years old. I don't think I'd have hesitation as her father to use this when she was a newborn....ultimately, that's up to the parent. Thx for the question and thx for watching!
How to get more mold in your house? Just buy one of these humidifier
I like it
hmm may need to buy one of these, my room gets really dry during the summer/winter weather.
+Emily McMartin I'd recommend it. Beside being useful...they're a pretty cool looking gadget. Thx for watching!
Can I use hot water in the humidifier ?
It says specifically to use “cool water”
Thanks!
One for each room??
Can use vapor rub
I bought this last year died after a few days got a replacement it worked fine but got it out this year and it will not work fan blows but no mist
Wow! Ours is still going strong and we're coming up on 3 years! Sorry yours isn't working out.
jim kirkpatrick did you try removing the base water? my humidifier wasn't releasing most until i went back to the manual
